Yes it is part of their job. And Nathan being an ex-Richmond player yes I would assume he doeszippadeee said:Do you actually think they watch the games? The go to tye AFL app get the numbers and spin sh!t.

Has been solid and a good link up last couple of games and back to old form on a wing where he was AA top 40 a few years ago.
Chin up Brando and he is a big reason we have the best culture in the AFL
Lambert was relatively quiet, Ross faded after a good start like Brando did, Rioli was very quiet after his leg knock in the first half, Balta flashed in and out, Castagna , Lynch didn’t do a lot ....jb03 said:Who was worse?
150 game premiership player yet he's not a lock in the 22 while we're missing the likes of Tross, Jaaack, Cotch, Grigga. Therein lies the enigma that is Brandon Ellis. He's not a beginner, he's an experienced senior player yet he's still as flakey as Friday night fish and chips. Everyone knows and is happy to cheer on Brando, he's a damn good player. Trouble is that far to often Bobble comes out to play n he's farking ordinary.Mr Brightside said:I still don’t have him as a lock in the 22 and am confident a player like Turner or Naish will go past him quickly, however atm his been a part of back to back wins doing his role
I’ve always thought if his our 22nd player we are going pretty well.TigerMasochist said:150 game premiership player yet he's not a lock in the 22 while we're missing the likes of Tross, Jaaack, Cotch, Grigga. Last week against Port Brando played all game and he also came out to play early in the Sydaknee game. Unfortunately Bobble turned up during the game n Brando had a nap for a fair while before finally waking up n getting back involved late in the game. Seriously frustrating footballer is Brandon Ellis n he bloody shouldn't be.

Ah….you omitted courage and composure which would be the main source of frustration with Ellis.Brettstigers said:With most players frustration on this forum revolves around a player's capabilities - they lack fundamental skills. experience or athleticism.
Ellis is interesting/troubling in that those three issues aren't his problem nor is his commitment. All that leaves is coaching - can he be coached to get the best of himself.
I'll happily give ya composure Bill. Don't think anyone who plays at AFL level lacks courage, it's just that some are crazy brave n others think their way through dangerous situations.Bill James said:Ah….you omitted courage and composure which would be the main source of frustration with Ellis.
By claiming his opinion is wrong you are inferring that it is not a reasonable opinion based on a reasonable premise. Otherwise you have no basis on which to make such a claim. While your initial hypothetical claim has a degree of subjectivity, it is possible that is can be objectively verified or at least objectively approximated which negates the claim that opposing opinions on the truth of your hypothetical claim are equally valid. Only opinions on matters that can’t be objectively verified are equally valid.Sintiger said:I said I think it is wrong ie I don’t agree with it
The logical conclusion of what you are saying is that if someone believes an opinion is incorrect then that opinion is somehow less valid. Of course that is nonsense.
A valid opinion is one that is a reasonable opinion to have, based on reasonable premise. Of course others may disagree but that doesn’t make that opinion invalid or less valid.
The very nature of something that someone has an opinion on is that it has an element of subjectivity in it. If it is factual then it’s not an opinion, it’s an expression of fact or fiction.
