Brandon Ellis

Depends what offers he attracts as a free agent. If these are significantly higher than we can offer then I can see us saying we want you Brandon but we cannot pay what you can get with another club, Good Luck.

One on one nothing surer than he goes to ground and loses the contest. Nothing changed v Dees

May spend more time in the VFL this season.

Massive panic merchant.
Regardless of the support around him seems to *smile* himself whenever he has the ball.
I would rather persit with Markov and Tape

Im not really fussed if he leaves at the end of the year , Infact i think i would prefer he did so we could use the $$$ to retain Vlastuin & Rioli

Turner , Markov , Naish , Bolton are all able to provide same or better

And fair enough.

It’s a great sign of what we have become.

Not sure the club would be unhappy with him putting contract talks off.

Can’t pay overs for players 19-25 on your list.

Love Brando but this is Richmond 2019.

VFL beckons. With others coming through in similar positions I reckon his papers are nearly stamped unless we cop a heap of injuries.

Should’ve been stamped in October last year. He struggles with decision making. He kicks well, he tackles ok, but he is clueless when it comes to pressure. He was close to the worse on ground last week, behind Soldo and Butler.

So why is Butler not dropped? He is as soft as Ellis and ran around like a headless chook last week

Butler did struggle last week. Needs a good game tomorrow.

I reckon Brando would be one of the best depth players in the comp.

He has a huge engine, will follow team rules to a letter, , is a premiership player, get the ball 25 times and kick the odd goal

If we have injuries to houli broad kmac short

Hes very good cover.

Because its Bulters first game in over 6 months.
I will play Bulter ahead of Ellis regardless

Agree entirely, it just becomes the number in the salary cap, how much you can afford for that role.

To us he is a $250-$300K player, to someone like gold coast he is a $450-500K player.
