Brandon Ellis

Typical game, a couple of head ducks, lose the feet too easily and a couple of fumbles.

On the flip side runs like a demon to always provide an outlet.

Borderline for Rd 1

That losing the feet will cost him big time, took himself out of far to many contests today.

Sorry Jazzy I though he was well under his usual standard. Thought he was really poor.

Geez Ellis can be frustrating.

Minimal situational awareness and predictable disposal.

I wasn't really glowing in praise!

Depending on whether a few of the injured guys get up, may find himself on the outside looking in for round 1. I'm a generally a fan, but didn't do enough imo.

If he walks as a FA at years end, at worst we get s second rounder.

At best a first. That’s real depth. Needs to work for his spot.

Yep spot on Scooper....

The Bobble has landed himself in a group of players that has increased in number which is the guys that run in the front 2 /3 of the field that are in combat for a spot that includes obviously the mids and small forwards.

Free Agency might save him without it he wouldve been delisted.
Not good enough for a team fighting for a flag

Depends on what sort of deal he is offered doesn’t it?

End 2nd rd would be a good result

Dissapointed in Brando yesterday as I thought his new role would have him up and about.

Sadly, there's nothing new and he still has the same flaw. He shirks the hot potato in traffic inevitably coughing it up or turning it over because he took that 2nd look.

Not in my 22 but Dimma loves him so...

should have traded him last year while his value was still solid enough. will not be in our best 25 come september.

No. We traded heaps - very happy with our list turnover last year. This year Brandon would want to put together a better game than that to stay relevant. Early days of course.

Probably already seen the best of him, but he's been a good servant with ups and downs. Did good in 2017 GF. It's a good sign for our strength and depth that he's now really a fringe player. Definitely tradeable.

The rule changes should really help a player like Brando excel. If he can't lift now, he'd have to be bait.

We almost traded him to Freo a few years back, they wouldn't give us what we were after. He's not untouchable, but he's a big clubman.
