looking at that picture, i think he needs to lose a few front teeth, and perhaps shave his head.

Underwhelming in two games so far. In danger of becoming a crab - lots of backwards and sideways, in defensive 50, and little hurt factor.

Disposal under 60%
Commentators also mentioned his disposal is very wasteful

I find him an enigma. He's very consistent in his possession numbers, yet inconsistent in what he actually does in a game beyond the purely statistical.

His best = Cousins/Montagna
His worst = Stanton

Under 60% for an outside player is not acceptable at this level. Surely he's creating doubts in the minds of the match committee for round 1 selection.

I mentioned on another thread yesterday that he is a stronger version of Leigh Montagna, which is a good thing.

Ellis' workrate on the ground is amazing.

Has a massive tank.

Overrated. Plenty of touches, doesn't do enough with em.

Still remember the missed goal on his right foot snap, when he should've used his left.
Against Collingwood could've been costly. Still plays like a first gamer.

So true. Well said. I'm a fan but I want him to be more damaging. Thought on Saturday he was deep in defence. Did he play most of the day on a back flank?

Once Yarran gets out there he should be getting most of his ball between the arcs. Being the release player. Step it up!

last year he was much more Stanton.

Brandon plays like he has himself as his fantasy captain. Love him but he needs to be instructed he doesn't have to dink it 15m every disposal. Link up and run, use that big boot and gain some positive yards. More goals too.

Agree, but like for me rather than love. Needs to take a leaf out of Dusty's book, dink it at times and roost it at times.

Marked way to hard - he plays well, DE of nearly 70 last game which does have to be better. Is called a purely outside player, but he does do a bit of both and has had to learn last season what a heavy bit of manning up will do to his game. He'll work through it. Not our biggest problem!

Going backwards at a rate of knots. Fumbly, misses goals, short-steps, sells teammates into trouble. Gave a 1m handball to Broad and watched as Neade ran past him to pressure the kick. Ran parallel to opposition ball-carriers rather than at them. Bathwater Central. Drop him. Play Menadue.
