Playing sh!t footy. Will not be guaranteed a spot when some players come back.

Laughable comment. I've been critical of him recently, but his form is not THAT bad.

Running into goal 30m out just stick it through the big sticks. To me that's the team thing not trying to give it to some one 25 m out.
Agreed, the name of the game is to score in that position. If you cant back yourself in that position you shouldn't be playing

I'm not saying he should be dropped next week. I'm merely saying he's playing crap footy (he's a passenger, getting cheapies and turning it over too much). If he keeps this up whilst we have players coming back he is at risk of being one that gives way. He's a top 10 player at his best, he needs to get back in there.

Brandos a gun who's slightly out of form, Dimma said we have a few sore boys i would suspect Brandos one of them...

We don't really have enough points or % but it would be nice to give him and Cotch, Dusty and a few others a break, just can't afford it but could cost us more come finals time!

Won't be dropped. His poorest form is still not bad. Flogging him for trying to pass to Jack for Maddie's Game is silly.

Agree,Playing nowhere near the quality footy we know he can play.

Just realised that now. That dinky kick makes a lot more sense.

Even when at his best I believe Brandon suffers moments of 'school boy footy' that I'd like to see disappear out of his game altogether as he matures. School boy moments have been on the rise in recent weeks. He'll cycle back round though, hopefully starting this week.

Not concerned about Brando, he'll be fine. The guy has serious potential and drive. We have much greater concerns...

I know it was an important day for the Riewoldt family but that should not have influenced decision making. It's out of the way now, B Ellis can work on getting back to top form and Jack will get the goals we need from him without "charity from teammates in better positions.

It's just a theory, 22. I don't buy it FWIW. Looked like a skill error.

It was the kick of a man who has missed the last - how many? - times he's run into an open goal. Got the yips.

I think he has had the yips his whole career. I posted before round one that the only thing that will stop Ellis from being elite would be that he does not kick enough goals. The goal against the Swans was great, but that is the exception.

Still a very young player who's been getting more n more miles pushed into him every season he plays. No surprise he's on rubber legs at times during games n completely flubs a few kicks, he's not the only one of the heavy runners at clubs that stinks up the seemingly simple kicks at times.

I'm one of his biggest fans but his contest looking to go backwards and sideways immediately when receiving the ball is annoying the sh!t out of me. Noticing it more and more in the last couple months or so. It's very similar to what Cotch was doing until he decided to be more proactive with his ball use. It's like it's by instruction or something because it seems drilled into him to a point where he doesn't even look at options up the field, it's just get ball and go sideways. It's putting other players under more pressure than need be and resulting in more silly errors/break down of plays.

Dusty does it to an extent too but can get away with it more because he's so strong through the hips and can't be tackled. Run with it and send it forward Brando.
