When will Bernie go !!

Probably some of the same ones who claim we have a top 4 team. Change their mind that we need a complete rebuild. Then change that to a mini rebuild.
Just waiting on the next instalment

Same blokes are also mighty relieved it's the bye round coming up so they don't have to decide whether to support Dimma's team this weekend or not. Not being able to make up your mind is tiring work.

Are you guys talking about the baboons or someone else?

christ you really have your nose out of joint, don't you :hihi fragile petal eh?

cos you're so interested, richmond started a mini-rebuild two years ago.

we might yet need a full rebuild if we miss the window of the current super stars (two more years?).

all depends on the second tier talent standing up and one or two kids becoming superstars themselves (Rioli?)

personally i think we're trending toward a genuine rebuild due to structural deficiencies but would be more than happy to be proven wrong. the talent is certainly there! Dimma has had a fair bit to work with.

in summary - this year or next year. then we trade out and start again. we don't have any A+ players in their low 20s.

does this suit you, angry anderson?

No it means he's a defeatist with a loser attitude etc etc etc.

Oh the guys who were running that line that have shuttup about it this week, funny that :hihi

I'm sure there will be a sentence in his next presser that can be taken completely out of context and used to support their misguided version of reality!

To be fair there wasn't much context in that line he dropped at the time. It hung there on its own no it didn't sound good.

How many games are we gonna win with this small forward line? Teams don't win in September playing this way.

Maybe.

Though all new flag tems brng something different.

Our's might just be the fastest, high pressure forward line that ever lived.

We did miss that second tall TOO.

We had no one up the line for that get out kick. Happened a few times which meant we had to go either backwards or to a short lead. We ended up coughing up the ball and goals kicked.

I don't think we missed him. What we lost up the line we more than gained in pressure around the contest.

Just 10 losses in 8 years shows a couple of things - the club knows it hasn't had the right list to push forward with, and Dimma usually gets it done when he has the better team at his disposal.
It's a biased stat. He has only coached a third of his games against older teams because he has never coached an old older team which is more likely to start losing

I like it Leyser!

History suggests you need talls to win it....but..... the game has changed again. Dogs won it last year with 3 goals each from picken, Dickson and boyd (ruck). Other goals from smith, McLean and stringer. At the other end Franklin and Tippet combined for 1 goal. The league is wide open now. A high pressure run and carry style can get the job done regardless of the tall timber.

last years premiers was one out of the box. they won from 7th and had a large injury list. like when we made the finals after being 3-10, it was a once in a century circumstance which resulted in unstoppable momentum. It will probably never happen again in my lifetime.

Old news?

Shame Chocco has left, he could have given Dimma some tips on Grand Final winning theatrics
