When will Bernie go !!

So do don't know either??

Pot. Kettle. Black

So I assume you are happy with the way he is coaching?

No I don't know. But I wasn't the one criticising him for having a wrong and stale message (or saying someone who did criticise the message was spot on). How can anyone criticise the message if they don't know what the message is?

Not sure how that's pot kettle black, but carry on...

People cherry pick facts to suit their agenda and it's no secret that there is a group of axe grinders that want Dimma gone.

Or they simply make up their own facts.

There must be half of PRE in coaches meetings, team meetings and in the coach's box based on some of the 'facts' that are peddled around here.

Cam Mooney earlier gave Matty Knights a huge wrap-up, saying Selwood and co constantly go to him for advice and that he deserves another go. I've been cautious of favourite son syndrome but he's been away for 15 years, coached his own teams and would be a better AFL coach second time around. Politically it would be an easy sell to the fans. Gale and Balme ideally placed to make the call, knowing the man extremely well.

Balmey is a huge fan of Kights and has spoken of Knights in glowing terms for several years now. It's safe to assume that when the time comes Knighter will be given serious consideration

True.
However the fact remains that Dimms is yet to win a final, and he's now in his eighth year.
Oh dear, that is a fail.

I'm on the Knights train. All aboard

Smartest footballer I've seen in the yellow and black

Haedwick is their mate, not therir coach, and their all on a good wicket, bringing home the bacon for little to no effort, I would lose my job if my KPI results matched Hardwicks.

Foward press ala 2015. Didn't work them won't work now. Get rid of this idiot.

The number of times we bomb long.
What is going on?
We have one tall forward capable of taking a mark.
And he's having a bad night

Didnt Frawley sack him as Captain, didnt rate him as a leader..

Have you heard Frawley talk about football? I have and I know why they call him 'spud' and its got nothing to do with potatoes. Seriously has no idea. Yes I know he was the last coach to win a finals game but I'm convinced the players achieved that in spite of him, not because of him.

Actually, I rephrase my first sentence to: Have you heard Frawley talk?

I know, I know. Its actually an endorsement for Knighter

If DH plays a high fwd press against the Roos we will get beaten on the fast break as usual.

He an Tony Shaw always amaze me with the dribble they talk in the media, opinions are fine , but they are factually wrong so often.

Spud revolutioned coaching in the AFL, he proved that ya can't just do the RA RA , pump everyone up with the same paper clippings every week, since Spud coaches in general have become so much better at understanding human nature more then all players been wind up robots.

Yep, I've said before you only gave to listen to Shaw or Frawley to realise you one doesn't have to have a huge footballing IQ to be a senior AFL coach.

"Yeah, look. Richmond just have to kick more goals, it's as simple as that"

As much as I love a good Beavis bashing I reckon the press really worked well for us last night. If we kicked even half respectably for goal it would've been a an easy win.

Especially against middling teams the press works well because it puts all the onus on the opposition spuds to hit targets. Very similar to what teams have been dong to us over the years. Worsold emphasised in his press conference that Essendon lost the game because they weren't skilled enough to get it out of defence.

I realise it's not pretty to watch, but it means we get to control the tempo.

Akso, I see a lot of people complaining about us bombing in the forward line too much, But it does actually suit our structure of having 4 crumbers in Rioli, Shai, Shank and George/Butler. It's also a vaste improvement on recent years idiotic plan of kicking to the dead pockets in order to get s throw in.

I actually reckon Reiwoldt let us down a bit last night. He got his hands to plenty but spilled marks he'd normally take.

Not surprising that Spud apprenticed under Shaw.

Yeah, agree, particularly since the Bombers couldn't clear it out and only got a few goals on the break. They stuffed a few up as well, but our poor kicking for goal really hurt us. Should have been a six goal win all things considered, Dimma got it spot on when he said we'd never win a game by 10. Not with that kicking we won't.

On Jack, I was behind the PRE goals so hard to tell, but Jack looked way too close to the man on the mark when he missed that last sitter. Dunno what he was thinking.

Anyway, Dimma safe for another week. Did he say anything monumentally dumb in the after game presser this time? The slavering hordes need something to *smile* about :hihi

Pure Hardwick last night 71 entries 11 goals.

Premium on effort. Once again efficiency paid only lip service.

World record 52 turnovers forward half.

Constant seige mentality. Never the team laying siege.

Weeks 1 -5 20 goals, 14, 11, 17 and 12 - Just play ( 5 wins 0 losses)

Weeks 6-10 10 , 11, 10, 10 , 11 - lets make it a scrap ( 1 win 4 losses)

All cheers to the Handbrake because..........

Good work lamby, knew I could rely on you. Did you happen to notice our forwards' inability to kick the leather thing in between the big posts even when given time and a chance to kick over some guy on the mark?
