When will Bernie go !!

D50 intercepts will only get you so far Sinners, and yes I think you could be right about trying to beat them through one-on-one grit.

it's a very dour, energy-intense setup that does little to tick the scoreboard over.

like I said elsewhere, we needed 'out' goals like the bulldogs were able to get. 'easy' goals from polished chains.

either this midfield is ill-equipped to do what caracella wants them to do or they're not being bold enough.

so many times we got the ball and were happy to move it slowly. no players linking to take the game on. we just massed down field for a down the line almost every time. not saying he was the architect, but this is a classic hardwick trait. kicking long to an outnumbered tall (jack) just so we can trap and set up camp.

rutten is only coach to get a tick from last night.
I don't disagree but we didn't have the cattle to do it last night. If we had one into shoot out mode we would have lost by 5 goals imo.

Disagree, we refused to come inside after quarter time. Dogs could defend the boundary without fear. Not much point having three chaos ball players in the fwd 50 if we are going to bring it around the boundary line Mick Malthouse style. Not sure if was instruction or exectution but we won't win trying to score like that with our fwd line structure.

Think the Adelaide game was disastrous at the selection table and match day, however I think there coaching well as a whole , wouldn't say there working with the most outstanding bunch of Herefords .

Still think FJs been a bigger problem then Dimma

If Caracella's blueprint involves supporting the ball carrier or cutting triangles through the corridor it wasn't evident last night.

Poor execution or too many defensive rules in place?

Last two weeks have had a smattering of 2016 about them, regardless of opposition.

Won't ever get separation on the lead Baron. Lacks athleticism.

He will do what you said, but so will Rocket man. But he will also apply better defensive pressure.

Astbury's strengths are his ability to read the flight and sure hands over head.

Think Harry Taylor - just better suited back there.

Net sum = better team with him in the key post.

Worth a try at some stage no doubt, just don't think it will work.
tend to agree with Leysy. Might be a pinch hit from time to time but I can't see it being a successful permanent move. Astbury, Rance and Grimey are working well together - they all bring different skill sets to the party. Don't want to mess with that.

Rance brings the tequila, Grimes brings the beer, Astbury brings the trestle table and the potato salad.

And Houli shies at the blowflies

Five on the trot then two down the tube. Running sixth with a hungry pack behind us who predict Tigers (5-2) are the ones to fall by the wayside. Dockers (4-3) this coming weekend so for Bernie & Co better get it right this weekend or the Fat Lady will start putting on her make up.

Thankfully the Frockers had to play a big second half come from behind game in 30 degree heat to roll over Essendrugs. Add this to a shorter break than us and them coming to us and it " should " put us in the box seat.
There's enough bonuses plus Nank back that it should be a gimme game if it wasn't Richmond. Desperately need to regain our form from the first five weeks as our one qtr a game efforts of the last two weeks will see us get hammered.

last couple of weeks, BEllis has brought Aldi Pilseners, but tucked into the Sierra Navadas.

Vlastuin, when he goes there, takes Bundy, with its inevitable outcomes.

Reecy C always brings a large rump.

sorry but Bellis drinks Corona (girls beer).

If that happens the rot of 2016 will certainly be sinking in H.

But since when have RFC been proactive in this regard?

Would be nice if everyone accepted that Hardwick isn't going anywhere this year, and we can move on with life...
