I did but not on that one. I can't be expected to know who is serious and who isn't can I when the sarcasm icon is not used ?

Especially when such a view may not be out of place on this site ....

surely you know i am more intelligent than that.....

Control of the Asylum seems to have been wrestled back?

happened even quicker than I expected
Just wait for some clown to come out with "I hope Collingwood wins so Hardwick is closer to getting sacked."

To use Tiger Masochists logic in reverse, it looks like the players have been patiently waiting for the right assistant coaches to turn up. Seems they can follow numerous game plans explained to them.
Huh?
Why bother trying to reverse what you think I'm thinking?
There's a solid combination of things that might help our team improve, or at least get back to where we were a couple of years before last years disaster.

Extremely unlikely that any of the players have been patiently waiting for the right assistants to suddenly appear as you are suggesting. But, by the same token, having a freshen up of the coaching group occasionally wouldn't do any harm. New thought processes, different ideas etc can all have some impact.
Dunno where you dug up the guff comment about them following numerous game plans, I've said often that we've had variations n changes to the game plan at least for 2013, 2014, 2015, trying to improve our overall performance. Last year was just an abysmal crap out of everything

Having virtually a full list of fit players to choose from certainly makes things a lot easier for not only the coaches to pick their best possible team each week. It also helps the players confidence n belief that they can perform to expectations on game day.
Also doesn't hurt to have some mature quality imports added to the team over the off season, nor does it hurt performance when a bunch of youngsters have been blooded under duress the previous season so that they now at least have an understanding of the levels required for senior footy.

No doubt at all that Dimma will go eventually, same as every other person who's ever put on the coaching hat in any sporting endeavor. If sacking the coach is the be all n end all of creating success, we'd have won at least another dozen flags over the last thirty plus years, we've been masters of the sacked / not renewed coach since Tommy got shafted. There's always many more factors than just " the coach is a dud " or " the coach is a genius " involved in consistently winning games n playing finals n genuinely competing for flags. Just blaming the coach all the time is simply a cheap n nasty cop out.

Just came in from seeing to the cows - only two needed rectal examinations.

Would've reported in earlier but my dial-up modem is playing up again.

er ... thanks, Yinners ...

You don't honestly believe that do you ? Plenty would have Houli and BEllis in their best 22, me included

Houli yes as he is the only real outside defender we have that can hit a target (although he looked really slow on Thursday). But Bellis? you're having a laugh.

so basically we can't lose whatever the result? ;D

True test will be whether bernie will back this new game plan when 5 goals down or go back to ball security.

Call me a fortune teller, but this is what will happen..

When were down and a side is pilling on goals coach will make a tactical decision as they do, the Pre faithful's will then conclude and abuse the coach that he didn't hold his nerve...

there you go, no point wondering when the future is so easy to see....

the reason Dimma turned on the handbrake to begin with was as a counter measure for when teams had momentum against us. how we respond to this in 2017 will decide Dimmas fate... and i don't think we will respond to it well.

Will bernie risk losing by 10+ goals in an attempt to win a game when 5 goals down?

Lucky for us, he kinda has to this year.

Unless, of course, the board has lowered the bar again.

Apart from my bar over the concept of actually playing forwards in a forward line, not really.
