When will Bernie go !!

Yep, it's weird that one defends our past 3 woeful finals losses as "weird".....

Might have been just a little too subtle for you, TinyTim. But carry on regardless. Your world is beige, never weird.

Look, I'd be rapt if Hardwick took us to a flag this year.

But you can't make decisions based on hope.

The empirical evidence doesn't stack up.

Winning against Carlton by four goals is pointless. Literally. I want vision. A blueprint for success.

A club that knows it's going somewhere. We'd immediately get that with a new coach.
Wasn't that the case when they appointed Hardwick in the first place? What happens if we get another Hardwick?
New coach guarantees nothing!!

Of course it doesn't. But the alternative is to keep a coach steadily building an insurmountable record of no finals wins. So...

Certainly didn't with DH, he promptly lost his first 9 straight or nearabouts

But you don't get it! In BS's fantasy world, he is infallible. Just look at the BS (alternative abbreviation) he spouts in that post. The 'big picture' according to him has only one valid opinion. His decisions are based, not on hope (although he just spouted more BS saying, 'Look, I'd be rapt if Hardwick took us to a flag this year') but on the empirical evidence. But only the EE according to him.

Next, 'Winning against Carlton by four goals is pointless.' We must instead lose, because we'll be far better off!? What errant nonsense! This is BS trying to cover his arse if he's proven wrong about the result. A win is useless compared to his grander vision. Only he knows the way to the Promised Land... like the prophet Moses.

Then the final absurd claim you have commented on.

:rofl

What the?

This is one long fart, Leon. Manners.

But seriously, you haven't come close to comprehending my point.

This is just alarmist nonsense.

Any foul air emitted is from your end only BS, as usual. Nothing but hot, four air. No answers, no arguments, just the peurile crap.

Here's just one of your statements - ' A blueprint for success ... We'd immediately get that with a new coach.'

:cutelaugh

Come on, defend this with your own (infallible) empirical evidence, instead of the odorous BS.

Well... Wouldn't it?

Peter Gordon in the bulldogs doco last night said re sacking mcartney we could have pretended everything was ok or we could have sacked him (or something to that effect) lol.

One subtle factor you've overlooked Harry.

McCartney had lost the players, he admitted to it in the interview he did recently in the Hun. Bulldogs had no other option but to remove the coach.

Dimma still has the players onside. Everything went pear shaped pretty much all year long last year and in the end the mental side of the game fell apart n everyone simply slowed to a walk.

Good Lord.

Dimma has the players, and we're still *smile*. How bad would we be if he ever lost the players?

Will he dare to allow the players to keep attacking and taking some risks if things go pear-shaped early?

Damian 'Risk-Averse' Hardwick. I cannot see him holding his nerve. There is already evidence of his panic in the selection of the team.

I think Hardwick has self esteem issues.

Constantly sabotaging his chance of success.

Four goal win and I'll be celebrating. Won't prove much because there are much tougher tests ahead of course.

I know the Baron meanders a bit but do you mean arrant?

No, Lamby, errant means - Erring or straying from the accepted course or standards (of empirical evidence in this case, but he clearly throws the term around with little idea of what it means. You cannot prove the hypothetical, obviously with empirical evidence, because it hasn't been proven to exist yet, hence 'hypothetical').

As for 'arrant' - it is a variation of 'errant':
