When will Bernie go !!

Have watched all three practice matches, haven't seen anything that I haven't already seen on a regular basis during 2013 / 14 / 15. I'm trying desperately to pretend I can't recall anything from 2016.
No surprises, nothing to outrageous, seriously channeling some deja vu.
Expecting something between sixth at best to possibly twelfth at worst. Injuries n attitude will have a telling effect on the end of year result. Honest and competitive season coming up, that's about all I can see.

Reckon we will be kicking the door down on a top 4 berth.

Fairly confident the cue hasn't yet come out of the rack.

Doubt there's to many Lindrum's or Charlton's running around at Tigerland. Plenty of pub grade champions though.

If dimma can get us there while selecting players like Edwards, Ellis, conca and hunt he deserves a medal. Would certainly be an amazing feat. Or just luck personified

Oh, Baz. That's offal.

Dimma loves a stat. I'd be surprised if he were unaware of L2's excellent stat that under Dimma we win 85% of games when we're older than our opposition, and lose 65% when we're younger. Could he be such a linear thinker that he'll equate that to an 18-win season just as long as we can be older than our opponents every week? So he picks Hunt instead of Short because it raises the team's average age by six months?

That seems a pretty reasonable summation, Maso.
I would be thrilled if the Tigers were to play finals this season, because, given my amateurish analysis of the list, that would be an achievement indeed by the Tigers.
The Tigers might be able to cover for some talent deficiencies if the collective attitude of the team remains upbeat and positive season-long, but given that the Tigers have often proven to be a mentally weak team I don't hold high expectations for season 2017 that high-level success will come the team's (or our) way.
But I ache to be proven incorrect, on any number of levels, by the Tigers.

Need to find some players fast!

We will need a lot of things to go right!

If we dont stay on the positive side of the ledger, any week could be his last!

Interesting coaching structures and personnel at other clubs.

Interesting to see Danny Daly being in charge of strategy at Brisbane.

Geelong has Scarlett as defensive coach and Knights as midfield. Talk about silk.

I think we have become competitive again with our new coaches and structure.

BTW should we sack Bernie now or after we lose to Carlton?

If we lose to Carlton, the heat will rise exponentially on Hardwick. If we're anything worse than 6-5 by the Rd 12 bye, he's screwed.

When will Bernie go?

As soon as Dusty and Rioli sign.

No need to pull the trigger until then.

The first selection night will tell all, if players like Hunt, B Ellis and Houli get a game little has changed as you say Baron all is on display

of the 3 you listed, the only 1 who isn't a certainty is Hunt... which is totally wrong. They will beat up on Carlton (as all downhill skiers should) and the supporters will think they're superstars again.

I went away for the weekend. when I got home I turned on the TV and Dimma was talking on one of the fox sports channels. he said B. Ellis will be playing as an outside defender this year. I wanted to throw my backpack into the telly. as Asian Tetley said ^^^, it'll be a laugh and a half if/when you see all 3 play down back together. Benny Hill music will have to replace the club song :rofl

If Ellis is playing as an outside back I would suggest somewhere in Row C

Very clever. BTW Bernie aint going anywhere because he is at the top of his game.

The first thing you do is you assess, as a leader you assess your own performance and that’s where it starts,” Hardwick said.

“Then you work your way down from there and that happens on a weekly, a daily, a monthly basis — that’s what we do and that’s why we probably get to the top of our game.”

RRRRRolloutthatextension Peggy and Benny!!

got to say I also found that amusing. Its classic Dimma.

The other thing I find amusing is that he insists that Cotch will be captain, and that Jack doesn't need to be in the leadership group to be a leader, even though we haven't decided on the leadership group, or the captain.

Its treating the members like they are morons.

We know you wont let anyone else other than Cotch be captain, and we also know you don't want Jack to be in the leadership group Dimma.

Both those decisions are completely wrong IMHO, by the way. Rance should be captain, and Jack should be vice captain. Cotch should be freed up to just play. What wrong with trying something new?
