When will Bernie go !!

Carts, Chops...

You mistake me calling you out with your ongoing "dima is a dud" since 2012 as me bagging the list, thinking Dima is a Demi god.

In your rush to try vindicate yourself by overlooking the gradual journey of our club from joke to contender you have dismissed what I have typed since 2012...

This could take time! The club as well as Dima, list management and the players have to get a lot right! Always wanted it to happen quicker, but thought we where on the right track!

We got here! You guys have lived in your own brains while this is actually happening! Look out the window. We play in prelim next week!

As you guys have said since 2012

Here we are again Mutton, with the question you can't answer.

If our coach is so sh!t and he caused us to lose those finals (which is your implication, I'm sure- couldn't be the players that crumbled on the big stage could it) then how did that same sh!t coach coach those teams to wins against the grand finalists and premiers in those years? Because he was a sh!t coach all the season, not just in September remember.

How did it happen?

It is a conundrum Toby, I agree.

I could answer by saying that all the evidence say brownlows, colemans, all australians player ratings suggests our top echelon of players are very good while there is little objective evidence to suggest Hardwick is very good. There is a lot of subjective waffle on these boards that think he is the bees knees though.

Internally the club agreed with the objective evidence in their review. Short list was game plan - shyte, messaging shyte, development shyte, leadership model shyte. They subcontracted in where they were deficient and hey presto - here we are.

If you cant tell that it is the extraordinary ability of our top end talent (refer Dusty Cotch and Rance Friday) that wins games for us, then I can't help ya mate. Sorry!

And if you cant tell that our game plan and team selections are also better this year and support our stars rather than knee cap them, once again , sorry.

Dimma said last year

'we have to take a step back to take a step forward'

well it was a huge step back, and a huge step forward.

By my reckoning, that makes Dimma really right?

last year taught us stuff. der. how to hold onto the ball and set, and how horrible losing is.

I wonder if he'll go down as the best worst coach ever,

or the worst best coach ever?

Best Worst Coach ever if he wins the big one, Big Easy.

We'll all love him.

Go Tiges!

Geez I was going to let it go but you just have no idea.

There you go again!

People who don't share your opinion are stupid!

I take regular breaks from this site due to your and others dirty low balling. I only come back when results in the real world break the diminishing circles you typed about!

However you still state your opinion as fact an insult people who's opinion actually aligns with what has happen in the real world. But don't let that stop you ranting and bullying!

Amazing what a good game plan, playing to players strengths and playing free flowing attacking football can bring. Duds actually look half decent. All credit to Dimma for listening to his support team.

Lots of waffle but the question remains unanswered. If he is *smile* then how did they win 15 games in '13 snd '15. And if it's due to the lust being so bloody good, then why did they capitulate under finals pressure?

And given it's at the heart of the "Dimma is a sh!t coach who has hamstrung the players" story you have peddled for years, it shows the story has little substance.

still waiting for the years in which Dimma was a "very good coach".

by my reckoning he was doing alright up to 2013.

his rigid style caught up with him in the first EF.

from there to 2016, it's a defensive nightmare. wasted our stars.

this year he's had assistants tell him the difference between ball security and winning games.

dull coach who is sloooow on the uptake.

at least he's being spoon fed and the list finally gets what it deserves in 2017.

Facts to you are like garlic to vampires.

Come on Mutton, don't you start talking about facts. You have made up so much stuff over the years the line between fact and fiction has been rubbed out. How was Dimmas motivational speech before the game...better than the one you bagged in 2015? :hihi

Honestly bud,

If you can't give credit to a guy who has been the coach of a club, who had only made the finals series 3 times since 1982, during compromised drafts to where we are today, then what I type like what you type is pointless.

In life there are immense obstacles to achieving greatness.

He is two wins away from it! Makes him a very good coach in my opinion!

Only because you have cauliflowers for eyes and ears.

You can only be right if you claim it was Bernies fault they lost!

It was somewhat a rhetorical question mate as the bending of perception and reality is like the matrix

Reality?

You mean what happens in the head of the ministry of truth?

Theres always a reality and also peoples perception.

I also find it staggering that people cant see its a collective. You could be the best manager in the world but if your ppl are rubbish the result will be rubbish, I think we can all agree getting better people around the head coach is fantastic but doesn't mean that alone proves the head coach was rubboish previously...

Yep, you've nailed it Harry.
Fingers crossed our lesser type players can keep on applying relentless pressure.
If they do,we can progress, if that pressure drops away we will be in strife.
