When will Bernie go !!

Wouldn't be so sure about that.

There'll be another board challenge if we straight set from finishing third.

Oh yeah? That will have even less chance of getting up than last year's Id reckon.

Consider the agitation if we were to bow out.

Especially if the board came straight out and guaranteed Dimma.

Those jokers from last year won't re-appear, but I wouldn't be surprised if some new iteration of the Malvern group appeared, this time with more ex-players in tow.

Time is of the essence. We clearly have a capable playing group.

“Blake Caracalla came across at the same time and brought a lot of ideas along with him,” Caddy said.

“Some of the stuff the Richmond guys were learning (over summer) was for the first time and were only speaking about for the first time, some things I had been used to (at Geelong).

Pretty damning.

OUCH.

I just hope he gets recognition for what his has brought to RFC

And you can add that the current board tried in vain to protect themselves by changing the criteria to spill the board. Just in case they had a miserable year again. Luckily they failed last year on that point.

They had already introduced measures to re-elect themselves and found a way to avoid facing the members' vote, as seen how Peggy constantly saying when challenged she is up for election, let the members decide, then avoided facing a vote.

I think any challenging group would successfully campaign on paying Dimma out.

The current board are too crafty to allow that to happen and would act first.

Dimma in deep trouble if we don't make the PF.

Agree.

To be honest for the players sake & supporters, I hope we do make the PF minimum. Suffered too long. :)

I hope we smash Geelong! We can win this.

The winner on Friday night goes into the GF.

Have you been to a 'thinking inside the square' workshop? :headscratch

Hopefully we win at least one final so this doesn't happen. At least that's what I'm hoping for. If we were to go out in straight sets it would be interesting but still don't think it would happen. Just my opinion of course.

Into the PF Baron then winner into the GF.

But know what you are thinking.

The winner Friday has a great chance at a premiership cup.

Im really laying myself bare here,

but I hope we win the next 3 premierships by record margins.

Pfft, you've been actively campaigning against winning a flag for years now.

Honestly anyone who thinks that there is any chance whatsoever that there will be a successful Board challenge and a change in coach even if we go out in straight sets is seriously delusional.

Will not happen.

As for the so called damning comments by Caddy on Caracalla, knock me down with a feather .. a coach comes from another club with new ideas and methods. What a surprise that is . I thought that's why organisations brought new people in from elsewhere?

So here I am, suggesting there'll be agitated coterie groups, members, ex-players, etc if we throw away our third placing on TWO more finals losses.

Fertile ground for a challenge based purely on Hardwick's tenure I would've thought, particularly as there was movement last year with two years left on Hardwick's contract.

It's possible. Remember, all it would need to do is force the board to act.

And yet here you are Sinners, categorically saying it won't happen. Who's the delusional one again?

Fair dinkum, some people on here need to think before they post.

Pathetic post.

New ideas?

It's concerning that our senior coach of 8+ years hasn't been able to teach his players the basic fundamentals of modern football. We've wasted many preseasons as a result and further confirms that the coach and game plan has been the problem not the list.

Wonder if Caddy gets a kick up the bum similar to Jack after his "the game went that way and we went this way" comment.

Reading the tea leaves isnt a strength of Dimmas.

Hopefully Balmeys on top of things and ensures the brains of our revival continues to lead our club into the future.
