Hardwick is coming to the end of his 8th year as coach with a less than impressive win/loss ratio; it's well recorded on this blog that he is a useless game day coach. He clearly plays his favourites who continually go missing when the crunch is on. The opposition worked out years ago that the Tigers are mentally weak and continue to be so under Hardwick and exploit that fragility time and again. Our goal kicking is an embarrassment and has been directly responsible for games being lost in 2017 and continues to cost us dearly every week.
assuming the bulldogs take the last finals spot... if you were an opposition coach in the 2017 finals and you could choose which team you can play in week 1, who do you think they would choose? I would say they would choose either Melbourne or Richmond, because they are the 2 most vulnerable teams. Melbourne because of their lack of finals experience, and Richmond because of our mental weakness and habit of always losing the big games.
