Cornes suggested we had gotten ahead of ourselves and Dimma got upset, saying he is piaid to write that rubbish.
But, in my view, getting ahead of ourselves was exactly what happened last night.
No crime in that. It needs to be admitted, if so, and addressed.
What do others think.?
There had to be a reason why the whole side was not switched on.
Unless there is another undisclosed reason, then they had gotten ahead of themselves.

I have just read Cornes response and I think he is spot on.
I know he has history, but what he says is in my view very reasonable and the exact conclusion I came to.
I think Hardwick was in a foul mood and did not like the suggestion the team had got ahead of themselves, taking it as a slight.
It is not. It is an accurate observation and explanation for an unacceptable poor game. Really very poor.
And as Cornes says, quite rightly, we have been poor for ten years. Thirty in truth.
You don't think the penny's dropped yet re: appointing a former pies player as coach doesn't work for them?Tigaman said:Do not think Caracella will get Cold Pies hot seat as they will most probably in house with either Burns ,Lockyer & dark horse Rocca. Another to be considered who is not in house at the moment is Nick Maxwell at Giants.

1) drinking ones own bath water
2) thinking the game is won in your head before the bounce of the ball
3) picking T. Hunt to play
