Welcome Tom Brown

As a player, he reminds me of and moves like Dan Connors. Good in the air, somewhat laconic and good disposal.

The broken wrist may have been some sort of blessing in disguise for Tom, he has basically had 12 weeks of all he could do was run, with aerobic capacity being a weakness surely it would have been of some benefit to him?
Agreed Caesar.

Same for the Gibbus should have added some upper body strength in the gym and swimming, and Kaleb Smith also.

Tom Brown (21 disposals, nine rebound-50s, five marks)

"He's gaining some real momentum, he's in great form. We've continuously seen great decision-making from him and his defence has really improved this season. I'm loving the improved leadership."

Very encouraging!

Yep, I love the 'leadership' part, and should debut within the next few weeks too.

Brown could be another of our kids who are improving every week and will soon be ready for the firsts. We certainly need to see our kids putting their hands up to progress

Brown is more likely to fill in for Short (Banks taken the role this round?) assuming Baker stays forward. Tylar Young will need to have successive mares to be dropped, he helps straighten up the backline and helps free Balta to play more instinctively.

That's a big ask, Grimes has been the most versatile defender since Ken Hunter, massive shoes to fill.

A lot of people don't realize just how good Dylan is & has been for many years. Those at the Tigers know. He hasnt got the recognition he deserves from the wider football public.

Tom Spewart is lauded by the media & most other supporters, but Grimesy is a far better player imo.

Dylan has been bloody amazing. Has played on talls and smalls and has exceptional closing speed to get to the contest. We got the good Grimes, no doubt about that.

Off the back of the game vs Sydney, he needs to compete, tackle, and hit a target to make it. Did very little of those, have my doubts.
