Brown, banks,to me stand out as afl quality players,Brown seems to have time and space and is a strongly built type already.
Brown has played 18 vfl games,so 1 season of expirence only.

If Brown can come into AFL team defensively, it provides option to play Baker forward & Short on a wing.
Might sound silly but that prolonged wrist injury earlier in the year could be a blessing in disguise for Brown, as it allowed him to focus only on his fitness for 2-3 months. Looks very fit out there and has been everywhere today. Great game, he and Banks have combined brilliantly off HB
He has impressed me immensely today. He competes well against bigger opponents in the air, his ball use is great and he looked like he moved well over the ground.
29 disposals. 21 kicks, 8 handballs, 5 marks and an all-round genuinely good game.
He's probably kicked the ball out 13 times, so those stats are useless.

It's pretty tedious. Some people went on and on about bloody heppel v conca for 5 or 6 bloody years! Nobody EVER does the reverse for boom picks, 'thank christ we took jack instead of x' , 'thank christ all those other idiots didn't take shai' etc etc.
Similarly. He's had a good game. Showed a bit. Not gonna *smile* and moan after a bad game, not popping the bubbly after a good one.
