2 goals, what else?anything at all? So you got nothing

Of course it's my opinion. I acknowledged he kicked 2 goals, (who's to say his replacement wouldn't have)
No one can answer "what did he do for the rest of the game?" Apart from kicking 2 goals, he had 4 more effective disposals and 1 tackle from. 87% game time.
1 tackle and his strength is forward pressure? Did he corral all game, was he near an opponent?
His footy IQ makes Maguane look like professor Julius Sumner Miller.
He does a little bit then goes MIA for long stretches of the game.

Whatevs dude, he'll keep his place.

There lies part of the problem dude. Too many accepting of players that go missing consistently. Then expect different results.
The same disease as our coaches, accepting of mediocrity, can't put up any reason to justify, so whatevs,
Fault lies with our recruiters too.

Starting to have massive doubts on this guy
Yep. Totally agree. Shows a flash or two and then goes missing. His handling of the footy is atrocious. Only good thing he has is pace and can take a decent mark. At best should be an emergency.

Not many small forwards have the opportunity to be in the game for 4 quarters. Their opportunities are pretty limited. His output was pretty good. Name me one small forward that does it every quarter? Hard spot.

Not sure what you are expecting of him? 5 goals, 4 goal assists, 20 possies and 6 tackles a game?

He did his bit.

what you smoking?

he shoulda had 3 and his pressure was his usual high standard.

nothing to see here.

I never mentioned anything about 4 quarters,or doing it every quarter. That would be 4 games worth for him.
Tell me what he does all game.
No, but I'd expect more than6 effective disposals and a single tackle a game for a start.

Don't need to smoke anything dude. Pity you can't see through the cloud of whatever it was surrounding you.
He shoulda, coulda but didn't . Sums him up to a tee.

What pressure? One single tackle for the whole game. Zero 1%ers. 6 effective disposals, take out his 2 goals and that leaves him with 4. On the field for 87% of the game. 4 disposals and he's doing fine. Give us a break

And yet being the doyen that you are, you can criticise a Lambert type. Lambert got George covered in everything but pace. We still don't know where George gets to all game.

I don't mind Georgie ,getting the most out of his ability, but he is limited in his skill set, no doubt his work ethic has helped in the forward half, however I think over the next 12 months he will be replaced by first Bolton then Stengle. I may be repeating myself , however before his moved on I'd give him some run with roles

His missed set shot at the start of the last started the rot. Crucial kick to set the tone and he failed.
He is very much a makeshift & mediocre small forward.

he missed an easy one but so did Dusty and Riewoldt.

wasn't on his pat malone.

lol comparing him to those two. If you're going to have a handful of possessions you need to make them count.
Was a big moment in the game. As soon as he missed it I thought here we go we are going to choke..the rest is history.

Since Ty & Lids' departures who, other than Jack, makes you feel confident when taking a set shot? Dusty doesn't. Grigga doesn't. None of the new brigade do. Such a basic skill. Scoreboard pressure is the best kind. *smile* Wossy Wyon and grinding out low scoring snorefests. You want to take the wind out of the sails of your opposition. *smile* SCORE!

Baz has got to clutch at any straw he can when he champions an underformer he likes.
At least young George is consistent, he's been averaging 6 effective disposals a game for a few weeks now. Funny how few think Georges mediocrity and deficiencies are "all fine" but others are due all the criticism that comes their way for the same issues in their game.

Baz is quick to point the finger at others he believes are underperformers that are still outperforming his underperformer ;D
What a battle of the underperformers it is.
