Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

sides cant contain 3 mozzies, one will always cut loose
i doubt if we could even hold them, our backline would have Grimes, Broad and Ellis, with maybe Vlas providing cover. But most teams struggle to have 3 elite speedsters in defence.
Shai is well suited to wing, high HFF or possibly even the defensive sweeper. Rioli will play mid and Butts has the evasiveness and speed for change mid.
George stays in and stays forward.

What riches we have with small forwards :)

And Leysy is right that George is a critical part of our attacking structure (to paraphrase him)
Castagna gets involved in aerial contests and runs leads to open up the forward line.
He is a tall small.

Before Towner it was George taking the 3rd defender /LMID. Still on GF day he was bringing the ball to ground and then sticking tackles on the crumbs. That is a key aspect of our gameplan.

Can't you only have one "absolute"?

It’s advisable unless you want a killer hangover.

Looks like I have to hand the baton over to Leonie for being Losing Days antagonist but I’m just not sure Leonie is worthy......hhmmmm

I really like the way Castagna creates so many opportunities. I don’t like the way he wastes too many of them.

He was worth his place in the team but it is that wastefulness that will see him on the outer fringes of our team going forward imo.

He has some tools. But sometimes he uses a hammer instead of a screwdriver. He needs to improve his selection and execution. If he does we'll have a player, if he doesn't his position is up for grabs

This is the issue, he's always going at a hundred miles an hour, causes him to over run, and double grab the ball, if he slowed down half a step, he'd be a lot cleaner.

Some people seem to think that the word 'absolute' is one of those adjectives that are very unique.

I suspect HazyDazyLeysy agrees with you. Sort of perfectly.

Correct. The non-stop breakneck pace means he'll always be less clean than wed like, but it's also the reason he's in the side.. bit like rancey, still has the odd rancey moment. But because he's so aggressive and attacking we don't care. I reckon hell improve, but he'll always have George moments.

Well put Snake.

He's only 21. He'll be harder to replace in the 22 than a lot of punters seem to think ILO.

Plays like he's got itching powder in his underpants.

Revenge of nerds?

Castagna would have to be the number 1 fumbler in the comp. double grabs marks, never picks up the bell first go.
Not sure about him either.

George can fumble but please don't over exaggerate.
Plenty of ingredients to make a cake. The mosquito boys are the icing not the base.
Plenty worse than George. He's come a long way and his tragectory is going up.
