Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

Can't you only have one "absolute"? So leysy is right, no need for the word "the", or "an".

But Leon is right too in that leysy implied by using the word "absolute" that Castagna is the singular most important piece of our forward line. Thus Leon is right that leysy is wrong. I would think Castagna rates behind Reiwoldt, Caddy, Butler, Martin (when resting), Cotchin (when resting), Rioli and perhaps even now Townsend.

strictly speaking yes, (an absolute monarch), but in everyday use absolutely is used a synonym for definitely, 'do you like beer?', absolutely. ergo George is defs a key to the forward line. 8-

You are way too kind to leysy. He did not use the word "absolutely", he used the word "absolute". Look at this carefully constructed analogy: Leysy is the "absolute shittiest poster on PRE" is different to: "Is Leysy a *smile* poster? Absolutely".

Further fluffing.

Spare me.

I wasn't clear, by extension, absolute is also a synonym for definite in colloquial use. When Dipper or Doug Hawkins call someone an 'absolute legend' they aren't saying they are the only legend, just one of many legends.

(also when they say 'I'm absolutely static', they aren't saying they are the only static person.)

besides, I'm a kind hearted fella.

What iz a with a da komprehnetsion testZ?
Didnt' real eyes PRE waz were weez kome 2 speaka da engrish !? :spin

Yes, yes you are.

Is there only one absolute truth?

Yes. In your world it is this:

Hampson is the anti-Christ. He is not only responsible for all negative statistics that flow from Richmond games, for every loss, for all pain, heartache and any scary dreams that little kids have. Furthermore, he will trigger the Apocalypse if he ever plays a game for RFC again.

Absolutely.

[But, Chops, you're going to really hate this part because it is statistically true:
1. Still contracted for 2018.
2. Leading back-up for Nankervis if our dream injury run unfortunately should alter.
3. And I think the one that riles you most of all. Still married to the lovely Megan.]

:hihi

Personally I think Jason is a bottom 6 player.
I think the small forward structure is key but not the personnel but there's no doubting they did have chemistry this year. Be silly not to recognise that.
I just think he's a loss or two away from being dropped. His numbers toward the seasons end were very moderate and for every good thing he does there's equally a brainfade.
He may improve. He may not too. It's a 50/50 proposition IMO. I'd say he won't as a guess.

There’s no doubt Bolton will have his eyes on George’s spot. The forward collective caught 17 teams off guard this year but it won’t happen again. We need to be able to upgrade and differentiate again.

Castagna seems most likely to slip through the cracks.

George needs a big pre season in the boxing ring and weights room. If he "stuck" 80% of his marking and loose ball get opportunities he would be a regular and a 40 goal a year man.

Are you comparing Lazy's posting with Dipper and Dougie's use of the English language? Probably a fair call.
