Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

Im more concerned about him getting over his goalkicking yips.
26.20 (56%) but numerous other non scoring misses and fluffs.

Needs to work on his set shot kicking. He's not too bad on the run or in play, but when he has to think about it he messes it up more often than not.

Luv the way Georgie plays his footy, get's involved in everything in the forward half n you can guarantee that he'll be good for at least one out of body surreal how the *smile* did he do that moment in every game he plays. He's massive fun to watch.

He is a great player to discuss. You can see the good things he does and you smack your head in frustration at the bad.

Age is currently on his side ....but will he improve?

Here's hoping.

George is manic, sometimes manically good, sometimes manically "wth" but he always gives 100%. He's sorta like Morro but might eventually have more tricks

Eventually? ;D

Disposal is the main concern. Poor by hand and foot, and often fumbles. Can't knock his work-rate though.

Ferrari version of Stevie M. Georgie plays with similar manic intensity n pressure but can still do serious score board damage as well. Small but extremely valuable difference. Doubt that we'll ever get an inside view, but I wonder how much influence n input Stevie has had on the development of the youngsters during training and magoos games the last couple of years.
Georgie, Geezer, Sausage, even Shai n Stengle all seem to have that massive two way work ethic and intensity that Stevie M would always bring.

It's ok if you're winning.

Love George, absolute key to our forward structure.

Very hard to replace what he brings.

20 games again next year ILO.

I've never seen a player like him.

They're all bloody duds when we're losing ToOheys. Nothing wrong with a bit of controlled mayhem n madness up forward, opposition sides have absolutely no idea what's going on or who's going to bob up n pick their pockets.

I cant wait till next year, watching other sides drop their CHF and bomb it into forward 50 so a couple of rookie midgets can watch it go straight back out again.

Or cop all kinds of injuries from Elbows Grimes.

He's a premiership player & well done to him for that. Nobody can ever take that mantle from him.
That said I remain to be convinced he's a long term player for us. Time will tell.

Yep.

It will be good for a few laughs.

Agree - he will have to get better - but there is a decent chance he will.
