Welcome to Tigerland - Callum Moore

Moore is coming along nicely and Griff has remained healthy so we may have some options in our backyard if we don't land a trade for a KPF.

On Moore, blistering pace and a huge leap. A bit more strength will be needed if he's to be a true KPF. He'd be handy on a wing too if his tank is up to it. Another upgrade option on KMac.
Doesn't need to be a true KPF, lightening lead up forward with the ability take a grab could make him a nightmare match up if he can can improve at the same rate as he did this year. As you mentioned TB he wouldn't be out of place on the wing but he will roam that far anyway with the Nick Reiwoldt ability of doubling back and being dangerous. Am just talking about the potential I see, of course he has a long way to go to reach those heights.
Credit to recruiting staff they are finally nailing a few late picks and using the Rookie draft well.

Bolton, Moore and Short should all in the seniors now.

Castagna, Broad and Caddy should not

Caddy should not? You jest. He showed what experience and hard physicality is worth in a final.

He's come along in literal leaps and bounds this year, but to suggest he's an upgrade on KMac is vastly underselling KMac and misunderstanding what Seymour is. He's a KPP or third tall forward. Exciting prospect in that role but put him on a wing and he'd be lost.

KMac is grunt and muscle, which is good for now but he's blue collar. Once Markov, Menadue and Moore put on a bit more muscle they can add a bit more silk to that role.

Moore still has to concentrate hard just to get the ball to travel in a straight line from hand to foot. Silk he is not. And a wingman he is definitely not.

I'm a big fan of Markov and Menadue, but they will never have KMac's build. Blue collar is important.

Agree, Spook. Great to see Moore progressing though he's been dynamite at the level lately.

I reckon everyone's entitled to their opinion but i also reckon everyone should support all the players on the list.
The fact that both teams are in the final 4 is extremely exciting!
I think the club are doing a fantastic job with our list.

Who thought 8 weeks ago that we'd be winning a QF against Geelong with Graham Broad and Towner?
And who know how many more surprises are playing VFL and waiting for their opportunity!

thats on the money DDT -> the team has many inexperienced no-namers. 2 month ago Broad and Towner were packing bags out the door and no one was upset. everyone is doing their role, not being superstars. Its fantastic how strong the club is at the moment

Callum Moore will be a serious unit after another pre-season. Has great pace and athleticism and his composure/disposal has improved out of sight this year

Wayne Carey said a couple weeks ago that you can measure a player by how he goes in finals, Cal Moore has done really well so far in the VFL finals.

Imo it doesn't matter what grade of footy it is the same rule applies. It basically means that a person can lift their standard to a higher level.

Kane Lambert showed the same thing in the VFL finals a few years back, that's why he was drafted by us, it might have taken a season or 2 for him to reach the necessary fitness level but we've all seen how he's come on this year.
Moore has shown his capabilities during the year & has lifted again in the finals, imo he'll be knocking the door down for an AFL game early next year.

Totally agree.

Another pre-season and he will be in the Caddy mould of player

Cal is a good mark is lightning fast (especially for a 192/193 cm bloke) & he's also not scared of the hard stuff.

Actually seeing something in this boy. Worth pushing on with.

Next year, at the very least you have a key forward at VFL level that can be physically imposing.

He showed glimpses last year and his form at VFL level is consistent and impressive.

He'll be a jet next year after another preseason

The kid certainly has some great attributes to work with.
It's scary to think what he'll be like in 2 years with a couple of pre-seasons under his belt.
He's a strong mark, relatively tall, and has pace to burn. Probably needs to work on his upper body strength.
I hope he follows a similar path to Kane Lambert and just improves year on year.
Keep an eye out for Moore guys, he's going to be a solid contributor in the next few years.

Showing a bit of late and liking what I see, could be the tall that we need.
Looking forward to see how he goes next year.

Never seen the kid play but he sounds like a Luke Mcguane type.Or not?
More a poor mans Nick Reiwoldt, not that there is anything wrong with that.
