Welcome to Tigerland - Callum Moore

Perhaps a bit like Gary Rohan. Quick, good overhead, but until recently having trouble with consistency.
What Moore has over Rohan is that he is performing in finals ;D

Never seen the kid play but he sounds like a Luke Mcguane type.Or not?
I think he's more athletic than McGuane. McGuane was a good mark/could leap, but I don't think he's as good across the ground as Moore.

One thing I've not paid any attention to (not sure why?!?!?) is whether Moore is good below his knees. Anyone able to comment there?

Listed as 193cm and 90kgs but Im sure he is bigger than 193cm

I would say he is more like 195 196cm

looked the same height as David Astbury at training few weeks ago

He can be a bit fumbly with ground balls.
I don't think it's a huge problem though.
He looks as if he is thinking of the move after he gets the ball and is trying to look up at the same time as he is taking the ball.
So it's a bit of a confidence and experience thing.

I reckon 193cm is right. Was standing next to his mum at the Prelim final and asked how tall Callum was and she said 6ft 4" which also correlates to 193cm

Good athlete bit dodgy by foot, but quick can jump like a bastard and is hard at it.

Could be a point of difference next year if he keeps improving.

Expected to see him promoted to the snr list.
Does this mean other clubs can take him if they want?

Only if he nominates I think. But if he’s agreed to stay on as a rookie we keep him.

Quite excited about Seymour. He's the perfect type for the way the game is heading. A key forward that is quick and can apply forward pressure and can take a mark and compete in the air.

They have changed the Rookie rules. From Round 1 next season, all Cat A rookies are eligible to play, they do not need to be promoted. The only differences between the rookies and guys on the list are the pay packet and the contract length. They can't be poached because they have accepted their rookie contract. They can be traded though.

Castagna played all 25 games as a rookie this year.

Good work Tottie.

Forget Schache, Callum Moore will be the next surprise packet next season,
Very quick, good size, knows the system and culture, good mark and is ready to go next season.
Good young mate of mine played on Moore during his TAC cup years and said Moore was the best he had plyed on.
Better than Darcy Moore

Body type a bit funny. Not putting on a lot of mass or definition. Does he need to.?

Just turned 21, 193cm, 94kg was 87kg when rookie drafted in 2015 so no problem with size.

Will put on a couple of extra kg on over time but for the utility type that he is you would not want him to put size on unnaturally.

So long as he keeps his speed and agilty and tackles like townsend he will be good

Now just teach him to kick
