After watching the Saints I hope I never see a clip like that for Richmond. It would be difficult to look good in that situation and I prefer to keep my illusions and ignorance intact.

There were a few things I noticed.
The confusion in the box where deals needed multiple explanations.
The lack of an appearance of one person being in charge of making the call
The amount of say the coach seemed to have

What appears to have happened is that Adelaide took the Carlton deal rather than St Kilda’s because they believe Carlton will finish lower than StKilda. Probably right

More grappling than at the London Hotel last Saturday afternoon?

One thing I’m loving is that we seem to be recruiting some types with something to prove. First Graham, now Ross and English. Guys with self belief that may have had their pride dinted by the draft.
Players like this usually extract the best out of themselves.

Just watched an interesting video on the AFL website of the Saints on draft night trying to do a deal to get pick 16 to get RCD. They reckon he has enormous upside.

Interesting that Carlton managed to get a deal done for 19 and picked Stocker with RCD still in the mix.

Apparently Carlton rated Stocker as the 6th best in the draft, from what I understand they may have been the only club to rate him that high.

What caught my attention was the urging by the Coach to get the targeted player in,irrespective of the cost to next years draft.No doubt Allen was “All-In” for players for THIS Year.

I think he has decided if the Win/Loss does’nt Improve in 2019,he won’t be around for Next years Draft with St. Kilda anyway, so what the hell.

Yep, and I’ve never seen a more beta coach than Alan. The way he sucks up to Chris Scott on 360 is like a student intern so desperate to be liked he’s able to ignore all facts and create any story to elicit that nod of leader’s approval he lives to experience.

A lot of references to R C-D being raw in that video. I suspect he has a long way to go which is fine, we have enough depth to school him properly in the vfl
