Welcome to the Tiggers - Daniel Butler

Out Butler Castagna
In Baker Bolton

i dont want to see Baker and Bolton stuck playing as forward pockets though. Bolton is impressing as a hff/mid and i suspect Baker's best position is the same. they need to play there when they get their chance in the ones.

Agree with that. However, everyone gets there chance up the ground in our team.

Dan needs to go back, win a heap of footy and prove himself again.

Normally I'd advocate Castagna being dropped before Butler every day of the week but only 1 goal in 3 games sees Butler the most vulnerable if they decide to bring Bolton in. Closer type.

Staggering that those two lads have only 1 goal between them. Castagna (0) goals from 2 games & Butler 1 goal from 3 games.

It’s a damming stat.

Yes they are there to apply pressure but at some point you need to kick goals.

In our premiership year they kicked at least 60 goals between them.

When players are so badly out of form like Butler and Castagna the only way to fix the issue is a spell in the VFL. We cannot carry both of them out while of form. Plus it sends a bad message to inform players not getting a game. 1 at least should be dropped this week.

At this stage Bolton has way more upside than Butler
Im a butler fan but he is off and the selfless acts are fast evaporating.

Not hard enough not good enough the last couple of weeks. Good decision by the MC.

Needs to get a kick in the magoos.

Given the future ins (Dusty etc) and blooding of new boys may find it very hard to get back in. Suspect Ellis and George may well be similar

Find it hard to get back in :rofl
Are you serious? This team would struggle to be the 2010 version

can't single geezer out.

Higlet and $hai were benign.

Geezer was our most effective small forward.

which wasn't that effective.

dirty night.

Disagree. This is a typical butler game. Goes missing way too much. At least george rioli and baker will scrap if they have a bad game. Scrapping is below butler. Out for rioli and on the trade table at yrs end.

Is he Collingwood gameplan doing something to stop our small forwards from getting involved? Happens in all our big losses off memory.

If it’s tactical, we need to figure it out before finals

Think it was our game plan of bombing it long blindly into the forward line last night that did that.

I thought Shai was the only half decent of the 3 et, thought he worked reasonably hard, Higgos worse game for the club and Butler well you know my thoughts an he did nothing to change that last night, in saying that thought his vfl form warranted his selection over Rioli
