was the tiny OSOB kick to Jack deliberate?

Obviously, the way it ended made it mercurial/genius,

but, WTF?

Deliberate and something I reckon they have done at training because there wasn't an over the top reaction by the boys to it, unlike Shed's soccer chip against the Druggies

Yep. The website has a couple of angles on it in final quarter flurry vid.

If you look at it he really gives it a real jab so that it's not intercepted. It could only have been intended for Jack

If it was deliberate, and it looked like it was, bloody hell, I was lost for words when it happened and I still am. Yesterday had more than its fair share of eye-popping highlights.

It's seems to be the sort of thing he's been trying in earlier games and not always getting right.
And when it wasn't coming off it looked too cute and almost like he was lairising.
But as long as he does it in conjunction with his high pressure play and continues to works hard in combination with George and Rioli - he should keep doing what comes natural.

im fine with it, cause it worked, and it gives us something to talk about

but wheres the % in a 5m OOTB kick over a handball?

Jeez.

Looking forward to Geezer headering it to someone, sort of 8-

I thought he was trying to chip it over to Georgie who was on the other side of Jack with a bit more space

I think you are right, it was definitely meant as a centreing kick, whether it was meant for Jack is debatable but you can clearly see him look to the right before and as he kicks the ball

Channeling his inner Shedda, magic hands / magic feet.
Cheeky as hell n reckon most would have been expecting n trying to intercept a hand pass, sneaky round the corner toe poke would have flipped out a few Moggies defenders.

Entering the winter period now and where the rest of the season becomes a pressure contested slog. Great to have he three amigos together again, they bring so much pleasure and enjoyment to watching the footy.

Might have been his best game for the year
Wonder having Rioli back had anything to do with it.

Goal sneaks are never going to have 30 touches a game, but he needs to continue to harass & tackle & take his chance when it come which he did today.

Well put ... I was shouting something like this yesterday ... but it was more like we only want you to three things.

That is a possibility too, that came to mind when I watched it again , freakishly outragoues , has some finesse does db

A group of 3 terriers will be more effective than 2. Individually each of them are just another small forward. As a team they are lethal.

That tiny banana pass was weird as all get out. It's like free jazz out there for Butters sometimes; just trying stuff out as it jumps into his head.

But as Thelonious Monk said, pianos don't have any wrong notes.

Party pooper.

I think you might be right. But you might not be. And if you are, the way we run in waves is was a risk worth taking.

This. He was looking past Jack but the kick was too soft and Jack was in the way. Still looked like a fantastic goal
