Excellent game was prepared to take the game on
Would like him to get a run in most of the preseason games to see if he can reproduce tonights effort

He's too small for your team isn't he?

Put a line through this guy.

Will erase it.

If you could wipe a little of that egg off and give some to me I would be much obliged! What I saw mid last year was just aweful - seemed to have no idea. Gets a haircut and all is good again.

Good game from Dan. Could well be a player

Always rated him, couldn't understand people saying lets delist him, watching him in VFL could see his talent, speed n skill just to inconsistent, we had to persevere glad we did.
Im excited that we have now built up our small fwd stocks in a space of a few years> rioli, butler, shai bolton, stengle, and castagna all young!!! plus experienced campaigners in shane edwards and sam Lloyd

He is the type of late pick that we have historically failed at that stalled our momentum the last couple of years. He is a likely type that we need to grow into a best 18 player. The doggies have been great at these picks, as have the swans. Rory Atkins is another example. Low pick but with good skills, speed, tackls and a footy brain. Never going to be a dusty but hopefully can develop into a really valuable player.

his 2nd half of the VFL season saved him, he showed quite a bit, I still thought he was to be delisted but kudos to whomever took the chance & wanted him kept on the list

reading some of the posts on Daniel

thank god the pre does not pick the team or are involved in List management decisions :hihi !

Looks like his knee injury might finally be behind him. Was moving very well. looked genuinely quick.
That run through the middle with Rioli in the intraclub showed he is lightning quick, very handy asset to have in the modern game. With Bolton an Stengle inexperienced he should get a chance up forward early.

Yes really pleased with Dan's form in '17, but when you think about it, the drafting of 'Bolton an Stengle' probably made him realise he'd better get a move on!

Think he was wearing his platform boots the day they did that measurement! Have stood next to him and he's not 182 unless he's had a real late growth spurt.

i thought he was a bit scrappy at times on Friday. might have to watch a replay to see if im being harsh.

He'll take a lot from that game. Buzz and bite.

We're seeing the seeds that were planted in the VFL last year. Smalls swarming. Our pressure on the opposition will sky-rocket if Butler, George and Menadue (awesome defensive repeat sprinter) join Oh Danny Boy in the side.

Big question marks for me on Butler. Skills address scrappy, and he made a number of really poor defensive errors last Friday.

Happy to see him continue to ply his trade at reserves level.
