Not much discussion re young Oleg. Disappointingly underwhelming so far and I'm not seeing him in the round 1 team at this stage.
We need some youngster to grab those running defender/wing spots. Not too many are putting their hands up yet..

Yes I think there was some premature jubilation last year with Oleg (probably the name). Has a lot to do to prove himself as AFL class. Has the tools but time will tell.

The hype machine was in turbo mode for young Oleg. He's a 2nd year Pick 50. Shown promise and needs to be persisted with, but he's not there yet.

Agree and he got better as the game went on. Still not in our out of round 1 contention but must continue the improvement in Moe.

If you never give kids a run they will never develop, You need to play them like we did with Daniel Rioli

His importance to the team is his run and metres gained being neat by foot doesn't hurt but how did he go in his defensive capacity in his first two practice games I.e did he beat his man?
