Has had a great season considering and has found his best position. Only a few are waiting contracts for next season and his money could justifiably go up by a multiple of ... getting him to above the average paid across the board.
Well written Tigerman. My admiration for Marlion and his family couldn't be any higher. Apart from Marlion being a very good player, nothing has come easy for them.
There has been lots of hurdles for them to jump over since we drafted Marlion. He left his family behind, and then had to go back to Wa to attend 2 funerals. He brings his family to Melbourne to live.
The poor buggers would've thought things were going to get a bit easier after his sensational debut in the Grand Final.
Then Covid hits, he takes his family back to Wa because the season is suspended. The season resumes so he brings the family back to Melbourne.
A month later and it's off to the Queensland hub, it's been a road full of potholes, you have to admire their durability and strong family unit.
can we including keeping father-son/daughter access as part of the trade? He’d be worth a second rounder wouldn’t he ? or would help with a deal to get a young Victorian back
Has anyone actually heard any of these rumours of Freo being interested in Marlion apart from in this thread? I just can’t see them being overly interested in a 29 yr old with a dozen games under his belt.
I heard east Fremantle might make a play to get him back.
He needs to improve his kicking.
As long as they don't try to palm Cerra off to us.
The Gyps is a fan, craig, so the kid's got that going for him.He hasn’t kicked on for one so highly rated.
I think he's got better as the season progressed. It's been a rollercoaster for him.He hasn’t kicked on for one so highly rated.
What about your man George, he could show Marlion how to kickI heard east Fremantle might make a play to get him back.

Actually was it George who kicked the ball to Arts in the last for his goal on the run ? That was pin point.
Reckon George gave himself a sly little fist pump after that kick.
