Welcome to the Tigers Marlion Pickett!

Marlion is one of a few that are not safe coming in to the finals.

I've got him in my 22 with Edwards, Broad, Dave and Dion returning but he is in a group with Grover, Markov, George Aarts and as of now Dow who are all under pressure from those loking to return.

Well tonights the night for him to doiminate seeing the Frockers are apparantly in for him, it will just up his price.

from last weeks game -

In - Prestia Edwards Astbury Broad (2 mids 2 backs)
Out - 2 mids 2 backs - Dow, Markov, mid, back

Unless Caddy comes back in ripping nick and takes the wing role, can't see Marlion missing. Can't see anyone else playing wing at this stage

to get the 4 players above into the team we're gonna have to re-shuffle our line up

on form george, rioli, may be in trouble. Edwards probably replaces one in the forward line

looking at all other positions, think only one of astbury or broad make the cut
 
I thought Marlion was BOG tonight (just ahead of jack graham)

played 4 quarters.

He was better than most but as with most of his games, his ball use inside 50 is amongst the worst at the club. Gave him 1 vote but for a wingman to deliver the ball that poorly inside 50 I can't give him more than that. Physicality as always was very good, his kicking as usual was suspect too.

I reckon, unlike most modern footballers, he’s receptive to a good old-fashioned bake.

Been building.

He's still a baby in terms of games played. I reckon the coaches love his hardness and will overlook his at times streaky skills. Stays in.
 
Definitely one of our best. Really important mature body who hits hard & generally makes good decisions. I really like him in the midfield mix. Well done Marlion.
