At what stage does the AFL step in and stop any such transaction?
I recall Buddy kept his move hidden, the AFL was happy to thing he was going to the Giants, but felt blindsided with the swans move.
Anyway, just get a feeling the media will ramp up with the Hopper stuff and the AFL will do what they do best.

The players you name have all figured is some way or another in a period of great success for our club and even if we had not achieved those successes, for you to catergorize them as you have chosen to do, is bloody disrespectful ..... in my opinion!

Sam Edmund reckons the Giants want two first round picks for Taranto and a top 10 pick for Hopper. I am not sure how us or Geelong get a 10 ten pick.
If Hopper chooses us it might be something like 12, 19, next year's first and someone like Soldo for both.

Precedent has been set last year with Cerra and prior to that Prestia.
It will be a first round pick for both players. The kicker might be Pick 19 with a swap of later picks.
What they want and what they can actually get are 2 very different things.

I would. RCD is every chance to be de listed and Dow has been very meh. Like asking for lettuce to go with your rib eye.
