Correct! What the media and the nuffie supporters think means nothing. Previous deals and perceived values mean squat. The player is worth what the buyer is willing to pay for them. This is increased if the player in question has an existing contract, because the selling club doesn’t have to let them go.

This *smile* head has fallen out with every coach and nearly every player in the afl.

Can expect it to be lodged at anytime tomorrow! But afl will make everyone wait until after 2pm.

Agree the Bolton one looks iffy. Wonder if we have given him a heads up we are going to be firm and there is a possibility the trade doesn't happen. Will we have the balls to do that?
