We don't owe the Suns anything.
Won't be disappointed if Suns don't want to cough up 6 and 13. We keep Rioli
They can worry about future picks all they want. Maybe their focus is in the wrong space for a club that keeps missing their maiden finals appearance
I don't see us getting 6 and 13 for rioli.
Too much competition and GCS can turn 13 into a lot more than half a Rioli.
We should get another pick, I think 23 should be offered, and I'd be angling for a bit more over that. Eg a Future pick.

I can't see us getting both 6 and 13 for Rioli either. I'd take 6 and 29 or something similar and be happy with it.
I'm not big on the threat of keeping him because mentally I've moved on from Rioli. Same with Bolton.

I think we have all settled down and come to the realisation picks 6 & 13 is a fairytale. Pick 6 and 23 is where it will land. We might throw future pick for good measure.
It really doesn’t matter what you or I or Kane Cornes thinks Rioli is worth. A player is only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. GCS want Rioli. He’s contracted to Richmond. We want 6 and something else for him. If the Suns aren’t willing to part with what we want then Blair walks away and Rioli honours his contract. Suns keep their picks or overpay for Noble.
Pretty sure it's Noble n Colonwoods future first to Mould Coast for 13 n something else to start the ball rolling. They'd then be looking at having Sausage, Noble and FF1st from the mad scramble plus Lukozades fat contract off the books. Surely they wouldn't be too disgruntled.
Just to go against the flow, (not for the first time), Daniel’s value to the club is such that I think the deal for 6 and 13 will go through.

why has the GWS compo pick at the end of round 1 for Cummings landed before the 2 Compo picks North had last year which they traded to Sydney and Gold Coast? You'd think Norths finishing position would have them above. GC's pick 23 should be 22.
If the Suns can’t get this deal across the line after promising Rioli that they would Hardwick might see what sort of amateur outfit he’s dealing with and end up like all their coaches disenchanted and on the scrap heap.

So in effect GCS get Noble plus 2025 1st plus 2024 p13 for losing Lukosious and his wage off the books.
There'll be a couple of sweeteners thrown in by the various clubs to get all the deals done and in the end they can give us 6 - 13 for Sausage and everyone gets what they want. Like a big old merry go round doing a couple of sedate rotations, we all get a lick n a taste in a 4 club arrangement and all the deals get done.
