Incredibly disappointing decision by Daniel. The one that hurts the most - by a mile.
Six and twenty is a very good deal.
If GCS are selling 12 then we ask what do you want back to make it 6 and 12 instead of 6 and 20.
I'm praying we use at least 8 ND picks. Going by all reports picks 29 and 39 are valuable picks because of the depth.
Reckon i would be happy with 10 picks and just concentrate solely on youth this year and next.

Won his first ever JDM in a team that won all of 2 games for the year. Guess that kinda rates up there with winning a JDM in a premiership team. Might also have helped that he was one of few, maybe even the only one who played every game for the season. Pick 6 might be a fraction skinny, but pick 6 and 12 is serious bonearse for a HBF.
Kind of following in his father's footsteps.

I reckon they will sell it for future picks, or another player. but i cant see them bringing too many more players in, so maybe 12 for Noble and the Pies F1, or swap for , say Blues F1 and 2. Or something.
I doubt we will look to swap out a future pick for 12. (unless it was a F3).
He had a contributing hand in all 3 premierships, same as all the other 22 players on the grand final day. But seeing that he played in so many successful premiership sides. More than happy if Mould Coast are willing to pay pick 6 n 12 for him, little disappointed if 6 is the best we can get, but only because I like to be a little bit greedy n biased when it comes to one of ours. Hoping we get 6 n 20, but not so sure we will.
I always hope that none of our former players or coaches have any success in finals or against us. Nothing personal, but once they walk out the door they're either just former n done or oppo n oppo sucks.
Yeah I think there are a fair few on here seriously over expecting what we will get for Dan.
Then we would have already won a couple of Finals so I'll be hoping he wins one more.

Daniel and Shai are both contracted players and if we are not getting huge overs for each trade then they shouldn't go ahead.
As a supporter I would be very comfortable with both of these guys back playing for us next year.
I would hope that the club has had the conversation with Daniel that there is a real chance that he will not be traded to Gold Coast. Similarly, I would hope they have had a similar conversation with Shai.
As professional footballers, I'm sure that they would be disappointed, but ultimately that would be a result of the destination club not "valuing" them highly enough.
