Have to remember in an intraclub game you're playing against a half a VFL side. Menadue has always looked very comfortable at VFL level. Still leaves the question whether he can translate into AFL level at the highest pressure level against a full team.

As someone who doubts Menadue will make the grade, I did like the defensive side of his game today, thought he cut across the front of packs well, attempted to mark an spoil at the right times, though I have my doubts I think when a player like Menadue is in the bottom few on the list it shows how good the list is right now ( I’m not counting the new draftees)
