Welcome to the Tigers - Connor Menadue

Not really sure what he offers.

Going to have to harden the *smile* up I reckon.

I really like Menadue as a junior but has been disappointing , Make or break year for him if he doesnt perform this year will be out the door

Indeed. ;D

Spook’s boy gets his chance after a couple of strong showings.
Can he make his mark now at a higher level.

Has to.

:hihi it's go time for the boy. Needs to take some huge steps forward.

If his still on the list at the time of the PREpreC&C 2020 I will shout all in attendance a glass of Melbourne bitter

;D

Has a lot of ability, just can't seem to make it click

Still has time but needs to make his chances count

Dont watch as much of the twos as probably most here but watching his appearances in the ones last year ,

In a nutshell , just didnt do enough ,

I would think in a similar scenario to Corey Ellis last year , needs to grab the bull by the horns .

agree

One of his first touches, he ran through CHB, looked up and saw nothing. Rather than dodging/weaving/turning back and looking for someone to run past, he bombed it long where there were three Hawks (who fumbled it out). There wasn't a Tiger in sight. Dumb.

Another touch near the back pocket, he looked up and didn;t like what he saw so he dodged toward the boundary line but then kicked it back to the very spot he'd decided against 2 seconds previously and straight onto the chest of a Hawk. Dumb.

He has straight line speed but no evasive instincts and panics. There's no place for him inside our defensive 50, and our wings already have a queue of straight line runners who do other things a little bit better than him.

I think we've seen what he has to offer, and we need to find better. Sorry Connor.

Very disappointing. Has pace too burn but never uses it. Pity we can’t delist now and bring in Marsh.

Maybe we should wait until Marsh can get a game in the twos before we start long term planning.
Unless we're hiding him till the deadline closes for club late pick ups for long term injured players?

He will surprise you.

It’s still a nope.

Miles off it, panics every time, can’t get it enough and average kick.

Never shown it.

Agree, not sure what dimma saw last night?
Probably what the rest of us saw, but it’s not really the done thing for a coach to publicly bag one of his players. He’s not Terry Wallace.

Reckon his only position is McIntosh's role, play there in the VFL and if his form warrants it give him a few games.
