Welcome to the Tigers - Connor Menadue

Hopefully came of age last night.

That run and bounce along the wing should have resulted in a goal for the kid. Should have had a shot but tried to do the team thing.

No way gets omitted .

Wing is he position for mine. Well played !

Connor seemed to take the game on on every opportunity last night.

Would love to see his stats for metres gained.

The trend is his friend

Only 12 possies, need to get more of the ball, agree with others he appeared more composed but must get more pill

This guy has to be invested in immediately. Should not be dropped as long as he keeps running. He is very, very good defensively already.
Massive upside to our team if he gets his average possies up to 16-18 in the short term which is quite possible.

Another couple of preseasons and he could easily be over 20 possies a game on the on the wing. With his line breaking speed, defensive pressure and ability to kick 55+ on the run at high speed he has the potential to be a massive metres gained weapon.

Come the end of the season, a big game at the G', 10 mins into the last qtr and both teams are exhausted. Connor and K-Mac's gut running could make a huge difference.

We have to take the 12 possie games now in the chance he breaks out later in the season. Invest.

Posters acclaiming his four bounce run but should have been two/three and a quick long kick to Dusty one out.
By the time he kicked it three Bombers had arrived and one marked it: fail.
Another one of Franks skinny timid low possession outsiders.
Will take years to build that body, confidence and hunger to necessary levels.
I hope he is worth our patience.

Juffa making sense again. Connor is the Isaac Smith type - outside run run run.
He an K-Mac are our future, so lets invest (x2)

I'm also buying shares. Reckon he's shown some excellent signs the past fortnight.
Starting to look like he believes he belongs at the level & is improving..

Spot on. He looks like he has confidence and that he belongs in the best 22
What a tackle!

288m gained from 12 possessions, 7 kicks, 5 handballs. 83% DE.

He hasn't really had a breakout game where he has given a glimpse of the future. He has just improved slowly over the three years he has been on the list.

Still not quite doing enough yet but he is certainly tracking on the right path.

Agree....although one thing I did note the other night each time I saw him. He is still skinny as a rake!!

I'm a fan.

Yeah, he's not playing exceptional football, but the graph it trending in the right direction (and not in a Todd Elton type graph). He was always going to take a few years to develop.

Nah! Dusty was hovering deep forward n calling for the pass when Mendoo was still eighty metres away from him.
Mendoo ran his arse off wide along the wing trying to get close enough, but it's awful hard to make ground when you're running wide around the boundary. Kid's going o.k. we just need to get some more games into him, he'll build a career.

The best part, wasn't it Jab Watson who was huffing and puffing after him? I think so, but far side from me.

Where's a shot of peptides when you really need it?

Kid has got the tools and will become a very good player, Just needs another 7-8kgs of muscle and the belief that he is in our best 22
Confidence will be the making of this kid and make a good wingman/HBF

Looking fitter and fitter.

Get the impression he's starting to believe he belongs.

Just need that one real breakout game and he could really level up as a bonafide AFL player.

Scoop would hate him and McIntosh on the wings. Leysy would love it. ;D
