His tackle on Goddard was huge. But would still like him to be getting more involved & are yet to be convinced he is going to make it long term for us. Hopefully he can build from this & continue to impact games
tigertim said:Hmm, I reckon he's going to be another Richmond draftee who doesn't achieve much but will be given plenty of time not to achieve it.

Averaging 11 disposals a game this year
Career average is just over 11.
He has pace which is crucial, but star suggests an elite player in the making.
You look at players drafted around him who have done more, Maynard, Blakely, Neal-Bullen, Miller, McGovern, Daniel - I don't think any of them are going to be elite although Daniel is the best performed to now and Blakely perhaps the pick of them from a future point of view.
You wouldn't seriously take Menadue as the first picked from that bunch would you?
Baron Samedi said:Rubbish, it's just a recognition that some players take longer than others.
Menadue is one of those.

You failed to answer the question.

PRE was in raptures about Markov last year and he can't get a game now.
You just never know what will happen.
turk-d-tiger said:Markov had a good game last week and was in the best at VFL level , Markov / Menadue / Graham / Bolton / Stengle / Chol / Garth / Soldo / Moore
All these players are 1-2 years away from being ready for AFL level realistically sure they are getting a few games here and there but the club would be looking at them as the future and they do need development - Not all kids are ready to go , Some need to get to 21/22 year of age before being both physically and mentally mature to play consistently at the highest level
mrposhman said:Out of interest turk, where's Markov been playing in the 2's? He got a gig off half back last week which I think was because Darley was out? Is that correct?
I think he's a half back but we've been playing him forward in the 1's. Interesting to see if thats the same in the 2's.
turk-d-tiger said:Played HB and wing the times i have seen him and occasionally drifts foward,But more wing going back to help down back
I would like to see him eventually improve enough in 2 years to be the Houli replacment
