I don't think Connor's too keen on reserves football. He was going through the motions until three quarter time last week. (He had a few mates.)
Menadue is a favourite of mine, partly because he's spirited. I knew he'd lift. (May have needed a rocket. Or a boost. All good.) We were behind. Connor was switched into the middle for the first bounce and he went on with it from there. He was smart. He was busy. He got the challenge he needed. And maybe the trust.
Maybe a go in the midfield at VFL level from time to time. Even opening there and being switched to HB later. He's a little bit of a puzzle ATM. I'm interested to see how McRae handles him.

Had a slower start. We tried him off half-back and he had a few nice pieces of play where he looked like he was really going to break through. It wasn’t until later in the game, when he went into the midfield that he really got a hold of the game and impacted severely for us. It was good to see him get around the ball.
