It’s been a season to forget for Shorty. A few of our senior blokes need a bit of a break. Maybe an extended one to really refresh their body and mind.
Shorty needs it. Vlas and Broady deserve it. They’ve both been superb all year. Give them a reward and extra time

I’m not as bigger critic of Shorty as others , however a couple of “ efforts” today were deserving of a run in the magoos next week . He’s always had his inadequacies, however he’s made up for them in other areas , time for the twos for some reinvention, we have other options in his role
Too many 'if only's with Short's disposal. It's so bad it looks like he's doing it on purpose.
Playing as if he knows his besties are leaving the club & hoping to be traded himself.
Drop him to the VFL for the rest of the season (sorry to do that to Morro, but sacrifices have to be made) and then try and trade him. We'll have to pay some of his salary and probably give whoever is foolish enough to take him something back, but we just have to get this guy out of the team.
He has turned into a shocking footballer. Fears body contact and turns the footy over because he continually panics in a rush to get rid of it before being hit.
If we can find a trade do it. Otherwise delist. Can’t carry him forward with us.
2 very clear poor efforts in the 3rd that resulted in shots at goal were particularly poor. Sure the kick from Taranto in the 1st 1 was a shocker, but we had other times in the game where that happened and then the other players but bodies on the line to ensure that the ball doesn't get out the back, that throw your boot at it was a horrendous defensive effort which showed he didn't want to put his body on the line.
The other one, that loopy high kick when he had other options to Baker who was on either Comben of Xerri was a thing of nightmares. WTF did he see. Might has well have just kicked it as long as he could and hope someone would run on to it.

He does this a bit. Gets rid of it as soon as possible with no thought of what position his team mate is in, just so it's not his problem any more.
22 disposals, 9 turnovers despite only 4 contested possessions. Honestly, the game has passed him. Slowin mind & execution and he's supposed to be the go to link man. Oh zero tackles and only 6 pressure acts to highlight his defensive skill.
Amazing how he used to hang around the player 55 out from goal (bout to have a shot) and receive the handball and bang home a goal. I swear he did it 3 times in one game (think against the pies). Can’t do it anymore. Rarely gets it and if he does can’t make the distance or misses.
