Welcome to Richmond Chris Yarran

Yep dumb, dumber and dumbest. Hartley, Jackson and Richardson. Through in the king of jokers Handbrake and you can see why the club is once again a laughing stock.

Throw in the medicos - Knights, Petterd, Hampson, Yarran, all had significant injury history and all have struggled to stay on the park. The club needs a big clean out, from top to bottom.

Well at least Hampson is still at the club, can stand up on both feet and is playing; getting some value out of him. Unlike the rest.

We weren't to know he would be injured all year , s**t happens. Poor from Yarran though for turning up out of condition etc, I was all for getting him & are disappointed as when fit & firing is exactly what we are currently crying out for. It doesn't say a lot about his character at this stage for when given a new chance you would think you would have turned up raring to go.

Our medico team just seems so third world. We continually get mixed messages.

For me, our fitness program looks the big issue. We are left for dead most weeks by hard running teams. We are not fit enough.

So that means we've just been "lucky" over the last few years to not be depleted by injuries ?

Yeah, don't reckon the medical team have much to do with what is shown on the website or released to the public. IMO it is way more in the sphere of the media team.

Would have been a free agent next year, that should have been our play. The whole concept of other club's poaching him shouldn't cloud common sense, we now look like fools. This raises more questions about our medical department, I'm starting to have my doubts.

Mate, there is no way in the world he would have stayed at Carlton this season.

You can argue we paid too much, but he was leaving last year whether to us or someone else like say Hawthorn who were interested - guaranteed.

Yep of course, too good a player to have not been picked up by someone. He'd burnt his bridges at Carlton.

Fools? Because we got a player in who was injured? Or one who was injured more than we thought? Gross overstatement. Fair dinkum. PRE is annoying the crap out of me at the moment, every thread, people work themselves into a frenzy of negativity. No acknowledgment of any positives in the ledger, for anyone. With the medical staff, lack of injuries recently, due dilligence on Trengrove, things like that. All forgotten for the latest manufactured catastrophe. everyone is just scrutinising every last detail so they can scoff and criticise and hang someone. There is reasonable criticism based on rational analysis, then there is PRE.

I don't think we look like fools, at least on this trade, thats footy. I still like the trade. I guess that makes me a flower-sniffing brightsider snake oil buyer or something or other. I don't give a stuff.

Hard to pinpoint the exact problem when most of our players start with average endurance at drafting age.

Two prized draft picks blown, zero games thus far from Yarran. Foolish is the only way to describe this.

I trust Hawthorn have due diligence, something that is patently flawed at Richmond.

It isn't the only way to describe it bully, there are a stack of other ways to describe it, good, bad and in between. You can keep describing it like that if you want, its a fee country.

We did dodge Trengrove.
The thing that really blows me away is that he knew he had this problem when he came to us but we took the risk anyway. Did he tell us about it then or hide it?
Then a week out from the season he's having an operation?... :headscratch :headscratch
It's so bizarre it's no wonder some are questioning it.

We have always had injuries , just last year like Foley Pettard etc , none were top liners

I have no problem with it being questioned.

Apart from this year, our injury list has been at an absolute minimum over at least the last three years. Third world?? Slight exaggeration.

Fitness is not the issue. Its confidence and our inability to want to gut run and get the uncontested possession. Something that again over the course of time has been our strength.

I have a feeling we were pleasantly surprised that a reasonable player actually wanted to come and play with us.

After three seasons of finals, we are in a massive hole, looking like we are going backwards and missed our window as teams go past us.

You ain't gunna get sunshine & lollipops right now. And rightly so.
