Welcome to Richmond Chris Yarran

Be careful Sin. The good residents of Salem will come out and label you a witch.

It's actually a good description ... I've a Hawthorn supporting mate who just shakes his head when he looks at us.

We must be cursed. The only player with and talent and skill since Nathan Brown that choose to come to us, is sidelined with injury.
Let's just face the truth. We can't attract talent, we can't develop talent, we can't draft talent

I suspect it's because they don't know and that's probably because the doctors don't know. From what I have been told, with this type of injury that is not unusual.

As I said ages ago, my only patient in 25 years to have surgery for it was unsuccessful. I've had it since January and it's ok , until I do something eg linesman for my daughter's junior soccer, then it aches for a couple of hours. I'm not sure why they can't just inject it before he runs (although I have never tried to run with a numb heel :) )

Dim a did say R10 or 11 what's going on with him carnt wait to see him play once his got match fitness :p

Getting him ready for finals

And the laughter from Carlton still haunts us. SOS was desperate to unload him. Have a good look at the inconsistency, ill discipline and disinterest displayed his last 18 months of football for the Blues!

Thankfully we didn't get Grimes as well. Maybe we will make another bold play for him in 2017? ::)

So now we enter the silly season where we take some consolation from heavy losses through enhanced draft picks... We also now see the price we paid for Yarran with an early second rounder off to Gold Coast for absolutely no return.

2nd rounder made its way to Gold Coast if i recall correctly……?

I read in an article today that all and sundry were telling the club to steer clear of Yarran as he had too many issues.

We can turn anyone around apparently.

Frank even took Margot Robbie to Elton John's place to see if he'd try bat for the other team again.

If Yarran gets over/through his personal issues then he has to be driven really hard over the pre-season to get to maximum fitness and attitude come round one 2017 ... otherwise RFC is going to have a very expensive recruit lolling about in the VFL side for to more years (unless he quits or retires).

That is a big if! Yarran has too many inbuilt issues. Can't see him playing for the Tigers next season

Read that Yarran is back training.

He wouldn't be doing that if he just planned to take the money and had no intention of playing.

Look forward to watching him next year and lamenting what could have been this year if he and Houli were both fit and firing.

Don't lament too hard. He would still be playing under Hardwick's concervative, slow, take minimal risks, minimal work-rate\run game plan. He'd be running into brick walls with no support or options. In fact, he might of even become a whipping boy this year due to our totally sh!te style of play.

There seem to be a heck of a lot of posters with intimate knowledge of Yarran's state of mind and intentions.

Here's my two cents, based purely on observation from a distance: Chris Yarran is born to play football. He's happiest when playing football. He's diverted from that path over the past year but he's back training. I can only take that as good news.
