Welcome Sam Naismith

I took 23 of those marks.
Intercept marks.
Down the line marks.
He took 1 Intercept mark all year.
Ring champion data

Never let facts get in the way of a good ole Zips rant.

Nank took 14 intercept marks all year, averaging 0.9 per game. The best ruck in the comp for intercept marks was Jon Ceglar with 2.2, do you want him instead? Thought not.
Other notable intercept mark averages for the 2023 season.
Sean Darcy (1 intercept mark) - ok we don't want him now. Zips has spoken, his *smile* apparently.
Todd Goldstein - 1.1
Brodie Grundy - 1.1 - Hang on, didn't Zips want him, but he's only marginally better than Nank at intercept marks.

Lets face it, intercept marks is not a high category to measure a ruckman, and weird that you've taken the argument that way.

Can’t wait for Naismith to take his 1 mark if we’re lucky a game

I can see you are not a fan. I don't think I've seen you with this much disagreeance with a trade since Dion (the midget) Prestia was traded to us in 2016. I hope you are as wrong about Naismith as you were about the meatball.

Naismith is a fully known quantity except perhaps that he may be able to get on the park as unlikely as that is. He is no disaster. Lycett is a disaster.

Can’t be right all the time or I’d be an AFL recruiter ;)

The ol memory could be playing tricks but pretty sure we played the Swans at the G
Nanks 1st or 2nd season and he rucked against Nai and Nai was the winner

form at the top level is so dependant on confidence, I can see a Naismith , fit and with his confidence up
beating his performances of the past and being real good value for us

🤞🤞🤞

What?? Nakas gets pumped by 90% of the ruckman in the comp.
Soldo kept us in the game against Melbourne till he tired after half time.
And pretty sure Hickey got Brownlow votes against Nakas in early 2021 at the G.
I would select My Mate before Nakas.
He is cooked

really love this acquisition.

put together some games at VFL level and absolutely worth the dice roll. double sixes if he manages to avoid acute injury in 2024.

ruck #1 for sure if fit.

What, another cymbal hands. The Hamster got 98 games in 12 years n Sam's got 30 games in 8 years. Got some work to do to match the Hamster's career.
Naismith is a good footballer.
Dont be middle by his career games, which are low solely due to serious injury.
this kid can play

This may have been posted before but gives a good idea of what to expect albeit at the lower level.

What I do like about him is that he's a genuine ruckman. Bloody strong under the ball.
Sure it's a short term solution & his knee issues are a worry but Soldo too had a knee to worry about.

It's wishful thinking & my expectations are low but I sure hope it works out..
