11 goals 5 for Ivan @ 68%, NB 15.8 @ 65%.
Both Croatians have good set shot techniques. They run straight at the goals and keep their head still over the ball while kicking

Like Tony Lockett, Balta basically kicks it out of his hand. Very very minimal ball drop.

I really can't stand the way some current players spin the ball and the like when kicking for goal, they need to control the ball drop and have a reliable set shot routine.

Just watch Royce Hart on a set shot, ball is steady, ball drop is consistent, result is more reliable.

Did a couple of good things but was caught out of position and out muscled a couple of times. With the loss of Grimes he missed the on field coaching. Still tracking nicely

Still going ok. Membrey roughed him up in the first quarter but if there was one thing Dimma got right today, it was moving him onto Marshall instead. Was pretty solid after that. Great aggressive tackle in that 3rd quarter too.

Going well the young man.

The 18yo star was on the receiving end of a lot of leather in the second half, what with Richmond fielding a VFA side and all. But he excelled in the first half, when his captain, adjacent, was murdering the football.

One of four classy Richmond players on the park this arvo. Along with Rioli, Tarrant and occasionally Bolton. Who all tapered off.

Glamour.

Re classy players today, you missed oot on Broad who was our BOG

He's a bit of a star this kid isn't he. Does so much right as a key tall..at just 18.
Already established in the 22. Can't wait to see what he's doing after another preseason or two.
Be interesting to see how he goes against Naughton if matched up for a bit.

I think Tarrant will go to Naughton. Given we've got 3 talls down back, I'd rather Gibcus play purely as an intercept player.
