Welcome Josh Gibcus

Cucumber cool, still feeling his way, confidence growing. Very tidy but as we know is capable of the spectacular.

Looks assured and confident. A few mistakes but certainly looks capable
Bloody oath. Without knowing in advance - I doubt many would pick him for a kid playing his first few AFL games .

Definitely a great pick and doing amazing things so early. Sometimes worries me that he is a bit laconic with effort on the ground, reminds me of B Lake

Yeah that is my take too. I am sure it is not the case but looks like he lacks a little intensity once the ball hits the ground but for a first year KPP he tracking magnificently.

Can't believe the media haven't noticed him.
They flog themselves over Dacs and Rarshelle.
But no love for the Big G.
He has been outstanding. Harry Taylor at 18. Best pick up since Big V

Increasing looking at home on the big stage with every game. Still needs endurance and despite my first thoughts, he is some player already!

There was one passage of play in the 2nd quarter where our defence was under siege and he left his man to become the extra, took a handball under a bit of pressure and laced out 35 metre pass on his left. I watched it again yesterday.
The kid is a beautifully balanced and composed footballer

I dont think we "let" either go.
i reckon we would have kept Chol on a 1/2 year contract with low $$$$, but the Suns offered him 4 years on decent money.
Likewise, CCJ we were just outbid for.

I am convinced we could have kept both if we wanted to. But the offers they got, especially CCJ, were just to over the top.

It is semantics I guess, but I have often posted on here that we let them go.

At the end of the day, I think we’d all agree that we ain’t missing much.

I believe he was top 5 in distance covered on Saturday at some stage. Tracking well endurance wise already I think

Since Tyrone Vickery?? That's underselling him a bit! :))

We want to nurse this kid through the next four-week block. He is building. And maybe, if we can get him confident, he'll send more than one of those laser beams off each game. Glamour slipper.
