I’m bringing in Blight next game against the Blues who are a very tall team. Will be a great learning experience.
Seems to be ready with the form he has shown all year.
I’m pushing Rioli or Short up the ground to provide more run through the middle.

With young and Gibcus out with ACLs, Grimes all but done and Broady at the end, I can see why we took a tall defender in the MSD.
Do the VFL get a game next weekend, or are they on the bye, too? If they play it would be good to give Blight another run for consistency then play against the Blues.

Love the idea of bringing Malcom in for the Blues , he’s not a lightly framed 19 year old , he’s a beast and what a great opportunity to get a taste late on a Sunday arvo .
I’d definitely rather he line up beside our best key defender when he debuts , however if Yze thinks Balta is with trying forward again , then Blight back will help that theory

Can any of the VFL watchers comment on his speed?
For such a large guy will he get shown up at AFL level with the speed off the mark of the large forwards he will be playing on?
