He looks a lot like the bloke who tried to win the 2019 VFL grand final for Willy off his own whistle.Who the *** was that bald headed bloke last night ? The other two were pretty good but the bald guy just smashed us. I’m watching the recording right now and he was every bit as bad as I thought he was at the game.
He made even more 'non-decisions' just stood there watching.Agree - that bald umpire gave a few unexplainable decisions that could have been very costly
Ever since the new ceo publically said he was a tigers supporter?I may well be wrong, but it seems (without referring to any stats) as though Richmond has had a better run with umpiring decisions over the past couple of games.
……and the strong rumour is Benny is going to run the AFL footy department which includes the umps. Time to change a few rules to ensure Geesook never win another final to return the favour to ShockingEver since the new ceo publically said he was a tigers supporter?
Well if Benny does decide to head up the afl footy department I hope he gets rid of the stand rule immediately.……and the strong rumour is Benny is going to run the AFL footy department which includes the umps. Spot on. Hodge is an utter moron. The new Tony Shaw of media performers.Dopey Hodge. He watches the replay of the Martin mark. Two hands in the back he says. Huh? The replay shows his hands on O'Connors shoulder. And O'Connor despite being in the advtandged front position chooses to launch himself and play for a free.
O'Connor was awful all night, he's a hack. That effort was an example of a bloke with no idea as a defender.
Umpires were pretty good all night. Just shows you if you get the rub of the green it influences the game.
The only thing was the lack of penalties for not standing - Hawkins is the king of moving around before stopping. And Balta took a deep mark and a cats player ran inside the 9 fvrom outside the 9 trying to slow him down. If Bolton does it its an automatic 50. This wasn't.
apparently it's his first year .. and it showed ..Who the *** was that bald headed bloke last night ? The other two were pretty good but the bald guy just smashed us. I’m watching the recording right now and he was every bit as bad as I thought he was at the game.
Ha ha ha. Not one part of the hand in the back. It's the forearms, which is entriely allowed.
That's why we are getting the free kicks……and the strong rumour is Benny is going to run the AFL footy department which includes the umps. Time to change a few rules to ensure Geesook never win another final to return the favour to Shocking
Ha ha ha ha. There it is. You could take 5 of those shots a game. Yet big Hawk is merely using his strength. FMD.
I’ve heard it called ‘protecting space’.Ha ha ha ha. There it is. You could take 5 of those shots a game. Yet big Hawk is merely using his strength. FMD.
Isn’t the rule simple? Don’t extend your arms when your hands are planted in someone’s back or you’ll give away a free (unless you’re Hawkins of course).Ha ha ha. Not one part of the hand in the back. It's the forearms, which is entriely allowed.
Would love to see the still of every boundary thrown-in involving Hawkins. It would show two hands placed squarely in the middle of the oppositions back almost every time. Commentators love to call it "strength".
Hodge is a moron bogan *smile* head that could play football.
The other usual annoyance was BT geeting upset with every 50/50 free kick received by the tigers. He was incredulous at times that we got the frees. The Cameron "deliberate" a great example. The rule is not deliberate (as total body rub loves to remind us all) it's insufficient intent BT. Cameron soccered it hard towards the boundary. It went over at pace. It was the very defintiion of insufficient intent. Yet BT carried on and on and on about it.
