Umpire farce - Getting worse by the minute!

Kicked the ball away after it had gone over the line ( probably a desperate fudge at the pill hoping it was still in play ). There's been players pinged before for thumping the high ball over the fence when it's already crossed the boundary line so, painful as it was it's correct call.

Don't need TBR's expertise to figure that one out, it's a simple one.
Didn’t this happen in the Sydney game last year, where Prestia was paid a free kick, the siren sounded and a Sydney player kicked it into the crowd. Game wasn’t over until the umpire blew his whistle. Oh no, common sense rule. To the strict letter of the law the umpires got it wrong. But no such common sense rule for cummerbund.
The game has become Shyte to watch. Too many non footballing decisions that are ruining our game. Blind Freddy could see he wasn’t wasting time.

Exactly right and that's what frustrates the *smile* out of the fans. All the little fudge areas of what the maggots accept one week or much worse from one side and not the other.
Rub of the green interpretations of when they pay an infringement and when they can't be bothered.

It cannot be called "rub of the green" when the the same teams are on the benefit side of the decisions all the time. Teams like Melb, Coll and Geel don't get 50 50 calls going their way because the ratio is much closer to 100:0.
The sun's were shafted yesterday, melb just got all the calls at the right time, similar to when we played them.

You can kick it into the second deck of the stands and it ain't 50, just ask Sydney.

And that’s what frustrates the hell out of people. They knew they stuffed up in the Sydney game last year, so they hid behind the excuse of ‘common sense’. They stuffed yesterday, but now they’re saying they’re umpiring to the letter of the law. The umpires can’t lose and the fans and players can’t win.

Might go down to the local church this Friday and pray to God for mercy on what we could cop that night against the flog loving Pussies.

Of course they're rub of the green when it's an umpires call 50 - 50 decision on whether to pay the free kick or not. Unfortunately as you mentioned some teams regularly get a favorable rub on the arse from the maggots n some teams get their noses rubbed in the *smile*.

it was signalled OOB after he made contact with the ball. Technically the ball was still in play.

There’s another stupid rule that has absolutely no place in our game. If that was time wasting, well I don’t know anymore. Another stupid non footballing rule that has no place in the game.
The rule isnt the problem, if a player kicks, punches or knocks the ball away after it goes out on the full it should be 50. The interpretation in this case was rubbish.

The one that wasn't paid in our F50? That was the exact reason why the rule was brought in, not the minor ones, yet the flogs couldn't see it.
