Yep, Im thinking along that line also TF (but Jack8 of late is looking very tired, so either way I'm happy for him to choose his way of going out)Wouldn't be surprised Chimp retiring and Jack going on for 1 more year. Sounds reasonable.

Yeah his opening line at the presser was something on the lines of “ I’ve already spoken to the boys do I have to speak here”…. ( something like that )Best speech was with the club where even the little future legend looked a bit sad.

Absolutely 100% spot on ............. bought a lump to the throat and a tearing to the eyes, but that's OK because I recall those very same feelings when watching us lift the Trophies in '17, '19 & '20 and what a feeling it was.I watched the video of his speech to the players and others and it was a privilege to be able to watch it.
Totally agree. He looked more nervous today than when he was younger accepting captaincy.Yeah his opening line at the presser was something on the lines of “ I’ve already spoken to the boys do I have to speak here”…. ( something like that )
Wasn’t comfortable speaking about himself.
I’m more convinced then ever after listening to Balme, that Trent was the inspiration, instigator of the culture shift and how he thought things could be achieved with care, love , vulnerability and togetherness.
It forced a shift in Hardwick and a loosening up.
Other clubs who have copied this ‘mantra’ have achieved premiership success , but it was Trent together with Hardwick and the people at the club with the shift in mindset after the disastrous 16 season that saw us climb ‘the mountain’ , three times in four years.
Trent’s legacy will be immortalised in time alongside Jack Dyer.
Waiting.
I truly believe he hasn't received the plaudits he's deserved from the AFL media throughout his stellar career.
He's one of the greatest Captains our club has ever had.
Salutations Trent, you're a true Legend.
Firstly, how did Jabber get more Brownlow votes than Chimp!I truly believe he hasn't received the plaudits he's deserved from the AFL media throughout his stellar career.

The drugs were good.Firstly, how did Jabber get more Brownlow votes than Chimp!
Crowe’s work with Chimp, Barty etc and his general thoughts on dealing with pressure, thoughtfulness, performance etc are really really interesting. And it’s not your fluffy, light weight sort of stuff either or even this popular “accepting your imperfections”. In fact, some of it is the opposite. A lot of it is hard nosed assessment, how to deal with adversity and not look to blame shift like a lot of people do nowadays and a lot of other very direct self improvement advice. Was a special thank you for his mentor Ben Crowe. Massive reason for his turnaround from the depths of 2016.
There was a dark time when Coughlan was my shining light. If he'd played more games I'm sure he'd be in contention too.My time watching live
1. Richo - club would’ve folded without him
2. Dusty
3. Cotchy/Rance/Jack
4. Weightman/Knights

He’s actually quite critical of how a lot of high level sportspeople, executives and what not go about things in the current age.
