Some good news. Vlastuin will be good to go for Round 1.

Lamberts injury doesn’t seem as dire as first thought.

Graham not far off from playing games. Round 2 most likely.

RCD, Mansell and Parker all fit for this weeks game.
Lots of Burgo positive spin here - I like the guy but if we had an amputated foot injury he would be saying its progressing nicely and will be back to ball skills in 1-2 weeks.

That's what I get from his updates.
Lacerated eye lash turns into long tern injury.
No mention of Prestia, crickets about Cotchin .

Lambert and Graham are 2 of our 3 best 'contest to contest' runners. The other being Prestia. Great opportunity for one or two of the young players to step up and play a role. Don't need a boat load of possesions just gut run to get numbers to contests. I actually Baker might get the role along with Ross.

We will most likely have 4 top 18 players missing round 1 and Carlton will only have Curnow missing.
They won't mention Graham Big V Lambert and Cotchin are missing
You forgot Sam Walsh, he isn't exactly a scrubber and I think Curnow will probably play. Apart from that you are spot on and could probably get a cub reporter job with the Sun under Mark Robinson.

has Georgetown relocated to the NW coast :)

I'll bite ha!

He started on the NW coast mate. Only moved to George Town in his high school years.

He's from the greatest town in Tasmania Penguin - as you know same small town that Benny/Butch Gale are from and until Nank came along the greatest of all - Plapp!

Has there been a bigger influence on our club from a town with a population of 5,000 in our history...

Training today, (1 week from gameday :) ) :

Fantastic first up full training session from Jack Graham, if his body pulls up well with another week to build on it Dimma is going to be very tempted to rush him back as am I.

KMac was a no show, pretty certain he is not injured? didn't he finish the Tassie game on the ground?. If so the boys only came back to the club yesterday with no strenuous training so no chance of injury there, (in which case he is a health & safety protocol watch for me).

Tigga not there at all today when last week he was on track putting in rehab work on his hamstring recovery so not sure there.

Boys up and about, in the 15 minutes of match play, Dusty was sublime on-ball, DRrioli exhilarating off half-back.

Despite the threat of no Grimes & maybe Tigga Balta still played forward with stints of rucking around the ground.

The starting wings for the 2 different sides were Ross & Aarts vs Marlion & Stack.

Banks participated in about two thirds of training which was long enough to notice some precision kicking.

**As mentioned previously only giving abbreviated reports as you are all seeing the boys play now so my reports become somewhat redundant.

Cheers
